  1. When I'm on the Turnpike crossing over Susquehanna river is that why I don't see boats out there? I always say to myself crossing that bridge where are all the boats.
  2. Mike I had the same problem on the clarion river over the weekend, so I searched for deeper portions and BAM found them. I fished them for a little while and came back later with my son.

they're pretty durable,I change about every five fish or so cuaght on them. But I cast how many times to get those fish and I re-dip them in the container about every 10-15 casts. Last weekend my family and I were up camp my son and I were shallow river fishing from the bank I rigged my son's rod with 4" minnow and a splitshot 6" from the hook and I was using roostertail and my 5 yr old son out fished me. He caught 8 smb and I caught 5. That's my little man ;D

No I never tried the leeches but, I use the 4" minnow and I had great results on smallmouth.
  5. I fish 3-4 days a week, sometimes more but I average 3-4. With two different rivers, a lake and a couple different ponds all within 10 min. of my house. There's days I want to fish and don't have time I just stop off for 10-20 min. to see If I can catch one. ( HI my names Joe and I'm an addict) ;D ;D

I own a flooring company I do residential and commercial. We travel the country doing retail stores our main accounts are Dollar Tree, family dollar, Aeropostale and Spencer's. I started the company when I was 22 now I'm 28 and doing good. For you young guns out there take it from me anythings possible. If you dream it you can do it
  18. looks don't matter much. It's helping other people when they need it the most and those kids needed it. most of the time I'm scruffy looking but don't think for a moment I wouldn't help somebody who is needing some help. Most people will stand there and watch or just keep on doing what they were doing instead of going out of their way to help somebody. If I knew these guys who helped those kids I'd take them to the bar and buy them a drink
  19. I'm sure the prices will go up by wed. if not I'll be surprised. They say it's for supply and demand but I think its just another reason for them to make more money. ( like they don't make enough already off of something that's free for them )
  20. i have minnkota powerdrive v2 40# thrust with a 16' trihull and I move pretty well through the water
  21. I make my kids wear there's as soon as they to the docks before getting into the boat and I never wore mine till my son asked me why I don't and I didn't come up a good enough excuse so I wear mine all the time now and ordered a self inflating one so it's more comfortable Sam might a little harsh saying what he did, BUT he's just saying the truth
  22. All good advice, but one more and it's important. Don't put yourself in too much of a hurry because of other people waiting for you that's when mistakes start to happen, slow down and take your time until you have your own system. you'll be faster as time goes on.
  23. My dad used to pull a 18' pontoon boat off of his bumper he had a 95 dodge ram with the 360 V8 and never had a problem, as for me I never did that I'll just install a reciever to my trucks if they don't have them already
  24. lol ;D see I can't do that she knows I hate spiders so she would get me back with a big black spider. you'll hear me scream like a little school girl running out of the house
