Wasn't the boat winterized before the guy parked it? If it wasn't, did you atleast hear it run? You might have some problems in spring if it wasn't properly taken care of. And to answer your question, I wouldn't do it now it's too late in the season.

Yeah maybe a cheap @$$ kayak, the one when you hit a rock you'll have a hole. I only buy things that are going to last me a long time, I do alot wading up by my camp so a cheap pair wouldn't get me anywhere. Just a headache.

He pretty much nailed it.

For me it's off shore structure, I'm not talking about 10-15 of water, I'm talking about 40-50 of water. I can pinpoint the structure and catch a couple fish off it, but I know there's more fish there. It could be better boat position too. I'll get better.

I landed a LMB last spring weighed 9 lbs. 8 ozs. out of my pond I go to, I'm hoping this year I can get her at 10 pounds. It would be my new PB.

I don't sleep before a T, Some of them I gotta drive 2-3 hours so I leave my house at 2 in the morning. I tried going to sleep at 6 in the evening and getting up a 2, but that didn't happen. I would fall asleep at 6 and get up at 9 and be up. What I do now is go to sleep at 8 get up at 12, leave and get to the lake early and fall back asleep for a little while. This works most of the time but not always.
