  6. This unit should take care of it. I will warn you, you may need to replant those bushes . . . A-Jay
  7. Don't really know - never tried that one. BTW - what are you using the circle hook for ? A-Jay
  8. I've been using stick jackets faithfully on all my rods for a while now. Except when actively fishing them, all the poles are stored & transported in the jacket. Additionally, if you feel you need it, the Pro Series Neoprene Rod Glove definitely offers much more in the way of protection. So there's that. A-Jay
  9. X2 Dwight's correct, I am a big fan of Ultragreen. When mono is called for, I'm using it. I've also switched from Big Game to this Maxima line for all my braid main line leaders. I will not claim that Ultragreen "is the best line period" as I have not tried them all. After using this one - there's no need. A-Jay

  16. Although the price on them have slowly crept up a bit, the Okuma Guide Select Series Big Bait Casting Rods are still a decent stick at a reasonable price. A-Jay

  20. X2 ~ The bait is in the basses world, they know it's there. The fishes "Food" rarely Tries to be seen. So attempting to emulate that by working the bait with less rather than more action is an option. Rather than drawing as much attention to the bait as possible by snapping & ripping it through the weeds; Easing it along, letting the bait glide when you can, doing whatever you can do to make as little commotion as possible sometimes is the deal. 21. Use this - it works well in those conditions. A-Jay
