  1. I wear two different models of the Bugaboot. A High top Black and a mid-height Camo pattern ~ both Great products. They work for me down to zero or 20 below, then I have to go to something else. A-Jay

  9. Granted the Colts run D is not exactly Stout, but still Six TD's scored and Zero TD Passes ~ I'd say the running game was pulling it's weight in this one. A-Jay

  19. Welcome to BR ~ Nice Bass - did you happen to take and record the length & girth ? That's a fairly decent way to get ball park weight. You're going to get a wide array of guesstimate weight replies here. I'll will you that what ever it weighed, it's a lot bigger than anything I've gotten in 2014. A-Jay
  20. Hello & Welcome to BR ~ A-Jay
  21. The size, strength & type of leader material chosen is usually predicated as much by the cover (or lack there of) as the size/strength of your main line, in this case braid. Routinely, the leader size (diameter) of the leader should be close to the size of the mainline. 20lb braid with a 20lb mono or fluorocarbon leader would not fish well. Although the rated breaking strength is similar, the size difference between the two is too dramatic. Despite being boxed with a rated size and test, each company's standard is a little different. So depending on your favorite brand of both main line & leader, you'll be better served to play around with each until you find what works best for you in any given situation. Generally speaking, when I am using a braid main line and leader it looks something like this ~ Braid main line Leader size 10 - 20 6 - 12 30 - 40 14 - 20 50 - 65 15 - 25 Though there are many good ones, I use a Uni-knot to Uni-knot for the main line to leader connection. This is what works for me - your results may vary ~ Good Luck A-Jay

  25. Both have their fans and for good reason. All things being equal, I'd go with whichever manufacturer has an "Authorized Service Center" closest to your local. A-Jay
