  1. Come on J ~ you sound like a Yankee fan. A-Jay And is something wrong with that? Absolutely Not. I should say that I am a displaced and life-long Red Sox fan. Although last season was frustrating for both teams, I'm looking forward to this year's Rivalry to be competitive. A good day on the water followed by a night of Yankee vs Red Sox baseball (along with a cold adult beverage) is tough to beat. A-Jay

  6. Great Footage ! I must say, the tree stand occupant/camera man seemed to remain remarkably poised and calm. I may have needed fresh trousers once Boo-Boo started up the ladder . . . . A-Jay
  7. Robert, From our dog loving family to yours, our deepest condolences. The loving memory of such a great companion will be cherished and kept close to your hearts. There have been some very wise words passed here in this post and in others regarding introducing a new puppy now. It's right for some and not for others. A puppy is commitment, energy and a different kind of love from what your dear departed dog provided. Some believe that a new puppy might be seen as a way to help ease the pain or even forget about the recent passed, but others perceive it as a celebration and a new beginning. A-Jay
  8. Off the top of my head I have 2 thoughts ~ 1. Sounds like that's not his Only Problem. and 2. I wish that was the only thing keeping me from going Pro. A-Jay ~ as an after thought - perhaps you could take a video of him in action as he snaps off fish after fish; maybe then he'd figure it out.

  11. Luhr-Jensen Super Duper ~ In the world of fishing, if there ever was an "America's Lure" it may very well be the Super Duper. Its unconventional "U" shaped design catches water and creates a swimming action game fish find irresistible. That's from their website ~ A-Jay
  12. I just do not fish in a steady soaking rain, slight drizzle and/or on and off showers are usually desirable. All kinds of wind is just a way of life here. Blowing over 20 mph is a deal breaker for me. Sunny, HOT & FLAT CALM is brutal. Although I often fish in it anyway with very little success except sunrise/set and night ops. Also Fog at night is very tough, there is just NO depth perception. So while casting to shallow water structure, I occasionally launch lures half way up into a tree line because I was a little closer than I thought. Attempting to get them back is always an adventure as well. I usually end up flippin at that point. A-Jay

  16. I'll add this ~ I had a Well known Gastroenterologist (GI Doc) recently told me and I quote, "that if people stopped eating white flour and white sugar, I would be out of a job". Previously I understood that these commonly ingested substances were not something to over indulge in, but this statement has initiated a whole menu for my wife and I. The reason we went to see this man in the first place has Vanished. A-Jay
  17. Very Nice Smallies. Since they were caught last week, does that make them Black Friday Brown Bass ? A-Jay

  21. He sure did - check it out ~ http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/tournaments/opens/news/story?page=b_opens_Roland_Martin_Returns I am looking forward to him showing off some of the flashes of angling brilliance he was so famous for back in the day. A-Jay
  22. Sweet looking Stripers ! I was very addicted to that particular species for a long time. It was a good time. I'd like to mention that when the bite was good during the day, it was Always Even Better at Night. So if night ops are manageable for you, I highly recommend them. Either way, the success your enjoying now is fantastic and making me long for days past. Congrats. A-Jay
  23. Good looking bass. I'm jealous, we frozen over here a week ago or so. Hope it the ice holds off and the fish keep biting for you. A-Jay
  24. Some interesting points mentioned. I enjoyed it. Also, Mr Parks stated that he preferred a Quantum reel. I like that too. A-Jay
