Best Fishing Lures Of All Time
Hello Jason and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ I do not fish competitively, but after spending 5 decades or so on the water, I do not have a Go-To lure that I reach for most or when the going gets tough. In all that time I haven't been able to find that one lure, bait, presentation or technique that produces fish everywhere all the time. While it may exist - I'm still looking. In the mean time, I plan on continuing to try my best to apply techniques & presentations and use lures & baits that seem applicable for the waters, conditions and season I'm fishing. Sometimes it works out - sometimes it does not. Good Luck A-Jay

Vision 110 orientation?
@roadwarrior You're in luck Sir. I did retain some ~ just over 5 dozen. That should get you through a season or two at least. As for payment . . . There won't be any money accepted, but when I die, on my deathbed, I would like to receive total consciousness. So I'd have that going for me, which is nice. PM me your mailing address Kent and I'll drop them in the mail Monday morning. A-Jay

Vision 110 orientation?
I must say right off the bat, I am a jerkbait user & abuser - including the Vision 110. I also change out the hooks on them - every one. And while I can't say for sure how the new hardware changes the baits 'orientation' in the water, I can provide plenty of pictures & video of respectable brown bass who seemed convinced that they were edible. While we all have our favorite jerkbaits brands, models & colors - I just do not believe that a bait needs to 'suspend' one special way or another. When bait is fleeing to avoid being dinner, it will go any which way; and bass still eat them. I have success with them all; Head up, nose down, perfectly level - whatever they all generate bites when presented in the right place at the right time. YMMV A-Jay

My Boat Trailer Bunk Replacement ~ video
Well, there is no signs of scratching as of yet. These bunks although durable are not rock hard - definitely softer than the aluminum hull. Also , I brought the removed carpeted bunks back home and stuck them in my garage - until I decide their fate. I was a little surprised to see that they were caked with sand & grit - especially once they dried; it was very apparent. I've always dipped the bunks before loading and after seeing that I'm glad I did. None of that is a concern with the new bunks. @MN Fisher pretty much nailed it above. Anything on them is easily seen and can be wiped / rinsed right off. A-Jay

My Boat Trailer Bunk Replacement ~ video
I know ~ I did see him live in the old Boston Garden (late 70's) in an 18 man Battle Royal - It was a star studded event that included Bruno Sammartino, and Chief Jay Strongbow . . . I wasn't really into the WWF, but my best fishing buddy at the time was out of his mind with it. So I had to go, besides he paid. A-Jay

The Road To The Super Bowl 2020
"Like sands through the hour glass, so are the days of our live's" Guess the writing was on the wall. And I would have to admit to being genuinely surprised if the League actually gave New England a heads up before whatever this next A-Bomb that's about to drop hits. A-Jay

My Boat Trailer Bunk Replacement ~ video
Thanks J. The new bunks sit a bit 'taller' than the wooden ones I started with; perhaps just under an inch I guess. Clearly there's more than one way to launch & recover. The Pro-V Bass has a 25 inch transom and I do prefer a 'deeper' trailer position; which facilitates an easy load for me. I'll float it on like seen in the video every chance I get. Some situations allow it - some do not. Most all the places I fish have ramps very similar to what was shown - some even 'flatter'. Couple of places experience a decent water drop as the season wains and I often have to stop fishing them because I can not get the trailer deep enough to get the boat off. Bummer to drive 90 minutes one way and have to turn around & go home. I may give a few of those places another shot now. I'm quite certain I will adjust to the different launch & load 'requirements' as time goes on. A-Jay

My Boat Trailer Bunk Replacement ~ video
I needed to replace a broken bunk on my boat trailer. Decided to change out all 4 with Ultimate Bunk Boards. Splashed the Pro-V Bass into local Lake Menderchuck and effected the replacement in the parking lot. The entire process went very smoothly thanks to my very good looking helper and talented camera woman. This is the specific product we installed today ~ https://www.ultimatebunkboards.com/store/supreme-bunk-boards/2x6-supreme-black-detail A-Jay

Which hand gun for home defense?
I am fan of the 870. Solid reliable choice IMO. Have two - one upstairs & one down stairs. Both loaded, one in the chamber, safety on. My wife & I live alone, are both very familiar with this weapon, have been trained in it's use, used it as part of our jobs and shoot ours often. However, when it comes to an actual shooting scenario in my home, The Last thing I will ever do is get the intruders attention in advance of using deadly force. #muzzleflash A-Jay
