  4. This one's just over a year old and I think there's at least one or two redeeming qualities . . . A-Jay
  5. Not much we can do about getting hung up if the bottom we are fishing is prone to it. I fish the Ned in areas where it's suited - cleaner bottom. I can think of two options for you though. 1 - swim the Ned - in other words - count it down to the bottom and then on all your following casts, begin a slow, continues retrieve "close to" but not on the bottom. Closer the better but you can control the running depth with jig head weight and retrieve speed. 2- And this may seem a little unorthodox, rig your TRD with a super light (but appropriate) pegged bullet weight and on a thin light wire either straight shank finesse worm hook or a thin wire round bend or EWG worm hook. Tex-pose the TRD. This would essential make the rig far less prone to snags but you may need to manipulate your gear selection to ensure you can get a solid hookset (relative term). Good Luck Rick A-Jay

  7. And then there's this ! Wow. Didn't see that coming . . ? A-Jay
  8. I rarely target them. Sore-lipped several and even managed to land a few. Always such an impressive event; from the strike ( so often seemingly out of nowhere), to the brute strength, the sheer beauty & just overall eye popping size. What's not to like ? I'm a fan. A-Jay

  11. That thing bares an almost frighting resemblance to my EX - ? A-Jay
  12. Very impressive ~ My objective is to remain injury free. Near max effort lifts are no longer part of my training. Too risky and rehap at this point rarely 'repairs' back to what I had initially. I lift to live not the reverse. Congrats to Randy and thank you for sharing A-Jay
  13. Haven't added an August 2019 installment yet - so here it is. Celebrated my 60th successful trip around the sun earlier this month and took a few days off from training to ‘celebrate’. Won't do that again. I’m back at it though and this one felt pretty good. #fitforlife A-Jay
  14. I'm 60 and my shoulders are good. And I do what I can to keep them that way. A-Jay

  18. Interesting - I listen to that same song when I'm in here . . . A-Jay
  19. That Gammy Superline hook is fairly stout Don't know if I'd call #14 Fluro Superline or stout. Perhaps pump up your line a bit or drop back on your hook wire gauge a little. A-Jay
  20. 100% Gortex may be the most water proof gear but it may not be the most comfortable either. I have Cabelas Guidewear (gortex) & HUK bibbs & Jackets - HUK gear is dry & pretty Comfy. A-Jay
  21. What line ? A-Jay
  22. Another Great Bass for @keagbassr ~ Funny - you don't look confused . . At least not when it comes to finding & catching Big Bass. Well Done Sir. A-Jay
  23. There's a very good chance Will Do. A-Jay

  25. Interesting - Specs say it's super duper thin ? What applications are you applying to ? A-Jay
