You're Welcome - Yup. And I made pretty much the same WTH post the first time as well. As a frequent pic poster, and attachment user, this is pretty much a weekly deal for me. A-Jay

Trickster Wanna Be
Thanks for asking ~ I've fished them a few times. Admittedly more to see how they'd run than actual fish catching, as the conditions were less than ( or more like - not close to) ideal. They run 'OK' - need to pulse the lure at the start of the retrieve to get the blades going on one bait. The blade sizes and combinations (which are different on each bait) may need a little more tweaking - to get what I'm looking for. That said, I'd expect to be able to get a few here during the post spawn and maybe again in the fall. And if & when I do, you know there will be 'video evidence' of the event. More to follow I guess. real estate- Is this ethical?????
@jbmaine Glad to hear you got out in time. I have used them a few times - never been a fan. Sorry, they've all earned my disdain. What Is an Agent? An agent, in legal terminology, is a person who has been legally empowered to act on behalf of another person or an entity. An agent may be employed to represent a client in negotiations and other dealings with third parties. The agent may be given decision-making authority. Many people use special agents from time to time; a real estate agent, an insurance agent, and a travel agent are all special agents in legal terms. Now the real question - how many times have we been hosed by 'agents' ? But I'm not bitter. A-Jay

30 April 2019 ~ Mixed Bag on the Jerkbait
Some semi-lost footage right here. This action took place after I had caught & released a Giant Musky, so much of what happened after that was sort of anticlimactic. Either way, still caught a few. A-Jay

Who makes a big platform comparable to ranger
Clearly I'm bias but this rig would fit the bill. https://www.lundboats.com/boat-models/2075-pro-v-bass/ A-Jay

Crankbaits -- Am I missing anything important?
Perhaps a couple of rattle / lipless baits. Also a squarebill runs shallow making it shore fishing friendly. Good Luck A-Jay

So far this season what has been everyone’s most productive lures?
Can't say I believe that actually matters much. That IMO is a marketing deal. Fish don't care and so neither do I. I 'prefer' most all my jerkbaits to sink slowly and usually with a nose down posture. What they do out of the pack is usually inconsequential, because after a few A-Jay tweaks, they all eventually do what I want in the end; which is fill the Frabil. A-Jay

Squarebill Hook Preferences?
Yup - me too. And on top of that, over the past several years, I have accumulated a totally ridiculous collection of stocker trebles. All brand new, never been wet, replaced out of the pack. Assorted manufactures in sizes 6 thru 1/0. Tried to sell them here a few months back, for a nominal fee - surprised there were no takers. For the casual stock treble hook user - it's easily at least one life-time supply. Come at me Bro. A-Jay

Boot recommendations anyone?
Yup. Wore some version of these for 30 years. https://www.danner.com/men/law-enforcement/acadia-8-black-200g.html High performance in a rather harsh environment. Not the least expensive footwear but worth it IMO. A-Jay

Squarebill Hook Preferences?
Check out the Owner ST-35 short shanks. "The ST-35 trebles also feature Owner’s 150-degree Premium Point Position design, which splits two hook points out 150-degrees versus the typical 120-degrees between all three points. This allows the hook points to be positioned slightly farther out from your bait and help increase your hook up percentage. Opening the gap to 150-degrees also minimizes damage to your bait from the hook points, while keeping the hook points sharper over time as well. Equipped with sticky sharp Super Needle Points and Owner’s Silky Gray frictionless finish, the Owner Stinger ST-35 Short Shank Treble Hooks deliver faster hook penetration on top of their improved hook up ratio." Been using them for a few seasons now - it's a keeper. Really killer front hook for 'wider' cranks - like square bills and deeper diving bait. Pretty sweet on topwater too as long as the hook hanger is inline with the bait. If it goes side to side (many Megabass baits) - this hook will not hang right. A-Jay
