Snow here for the last two days and and more expected everyday until mid week. I'm done fishing but it appears the dog sled season may be starting early this year. So I've got that going for me . . You're right, it's not the same. But it's something. Guess I'll try to remember the good times. A-Jay

I can see his point of view. However, I really do prefer a buffer between whatever is in the bed of the truck and me as the driver. I actually tried the 'SUV' thing - went with a Yukon Denali XL - Super sweet rig - but with four 100lb Malamutes in the same space as me - the dog hair and especially the gas . . . . was Brutal ! Traded that thing in and have never looked back . . . . A-Jay

Yup - me too. Not happening though. My 'zero tolerance' policy with leaves on the property is completely out the window this year. And it looks like S^&* too. All this nice white snow with tons of dead a$$ brown oak leaves blowing all over the place - I may lose it here soon . . . . (kidding) A-Jay

Guess I won't be cleaning up the rest of those leaves any time soon ~ That's a win. A-Jay

Have had my share of 'injuries' over the years. Many of them were self induced and usually revolved around me being a victim of my own (over) enthusiasm. Currently working on my 60th trip around the sun. I've tried to keep in at least 'fishing shape' for most of it. Best way for me to be able to fish tomorrow, is to do something about it today. A-Jay

I'm planning on re-homing the vast majority of my 'pointer collection' over the winter here in the BR Flea Market forum. Important part of this revolves around the term "Deep Discount". Might keep an eye out. A-Jay
