  3. Nice ~ I was gonna say 'way to break the ice' - but then . . . Congrats A-Jay
  4. No Good. A-Jay
  5. @12poundbass - I can get into some pretty skinny stuff - I guess with the moor up she floats in 24 inches. I rarely fish anything like that. Also, early season, right after ice out and well before any ramp docks are in, I had no problem launching & recovering. Used a sling shot method with line attached to the trailer. A pair of hip boots is highly recommended - as the water's a might bit nippy. (polar opposite of 'The Bite') A-Jay
  6. @slonezp Sounds like you may be committing some time crawling around one or two new rigs. That can't be a bad time - even if you're 'just looking'. Good Luck (btw - ease up on the $10 drafts & flat bread this time . . . . .) A-Jay
  7. Kodi tipped it at 145 (pic below) but thankfully had a gentle & playful disposition. His Dad however ( who we didn't own but fostered for a while - sorry no pic) was a freak at 190 and a REAL PIA ! A-Jay Over the years we've owned, fostered, placed, trained & cared for A Lot of dogs. My Boy Diesel was By Far - my favorite. We just understood each other. I miss him everyday. A-Jay I'm gonna stop now - between the pics and I haven't even started with the video's - It'll get way past stupid - and you know I'm good like that. A-Jay
  8. Our first Malamute - Kodi. He's 2 yrs old in this pic. My son was 11. Kodi was a Load. A-Jay

  11. LOL- Tuckers definitely not the biggest Malamute we've had but easily one on the most affectionate - Been every bit a Big Puppy ~ his whole life - and that's sort of a breed standard for these guys A-Jay
  12. Fenway & Tucker took me for a walk the other day ~ Afterwords, Tucker told me I did good . . A-Jay
  13. Hello Zak and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  14. 11-11 Green Bass ~ ^^^^^ a 7-5 Brown Bass ~ ^^^^^^^^ and a 35lb Striped Bass ~ ^^^^^^ (not a PB but real sweet fish) A-Jay
  15. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ I have use a few different brands of travel casting rods the past few years bass fishing in Mexico. Like the G.Loomis Escape quite a bit and more recently, the Fenwick 'Methods' rods. IMO there are no cons - the convenience of taking them as carry-on Is The Best. Way too many horror stories where the full tube arrives (or not) with rods damaged. A-Jay
  16. No clue as to the total numbers but it was a pretty good year. Here's a few. https://www.facebook.com/life.at.the.45th.parallel/media_set?set=a.1587883044624886.1073741843.100002096185350&type=3&pnref=lhc A-Jay
  17. I did - my Dad took me out when I was a kid. 4 times I think. Two trips - two summers in a row in the rental boats. The Q was the biggest water I'd been on up to that point. My Dad was a bank beater so that's pretty much all we did. I was 'lost'. Still managed to get a mix of one pound lmb & smb and a few over sized crappie (Calico bass according to Dad) First time I'd used live hellgrammite for bait. A-Jay
  18. Right back at ya Big Mike ! A-Jay
  19. Happy New Year My Friend. A-Jay
  20. Thank you - It was a solid year in many respects. Fished a lot of new to me water - hard. 2018 will see the same effort. As always, results may vary. Happy New Year my Friend A-Jay
  21. Nicely Done ~ Plenty of Great Smallies taken from water that see a fair amount of pressure. Here's to a productive 2018. A-Jay
  22. Run & Sled with my dogs as well as continue working to stay lean. One feeds the other. A-Jay
  23. I'm good with that - Thanks. And I'm also OK with little to no following. As I prefer leading. A-Jay
