  1. After four going on five decades of bassing, the number of baits on my personal "Famous List" are just too numerous to mention. Many of them are noted in the thread already. Sadly some of them are no longer made and I no longer have. Flavor of the month baits for me include a vibrating jig, and a swimjig; specifically a Warbaits model with a Big Hammer swimbait trailer. 2. This covers it for me - my PB came on a 3/4 SK Red Eye Shad in Sexy Shad. So there's my vote. The 1/2 model (various colors) may see more in the water time throughout the year than any bait I throw. A-Jay
  3. It seems to change about every year or two for me. The Duo Realis Pencil has been very good. Last year the Paycheck Baits Repo Man was killing it for me. Contains both internal glass and tungsten rattles that the brown bass here seem to like quite a bit. This bait was originally marketed by Reaction Innovations under the name Vixen. A-Jay
  4. Lowes for me - 10% retired Military discount drives that one. A-Jay
  5. Good Topic Tom and it's something that can & often is overlooked & under valued as an important skill. My fishing requires some of both. However, even with the longer casting requirements, there simply must be certainly level of accuracy. Perhaps not quite as tight as the shorter target hunting variety, but if I'm 10 feet off on a long edge, deep weedline, or small hump for instance - I'm probably not getting bit. So, I'll go on to say that casting accuracy, regardless of length is something I believe routinely contributes to success. Always trying to get better & more confident with every type - not the best dock skipper though. Fortunately there aren't that many instances where I'm doing it - but I'm still working on it. A-Jay
  6. Marvin Hagler was The Man ! Ran in the sand with workboots. A-Jay
  7. Ya but @Team9nine - that means I have to read and study and comprehend and all that takes so much time - Isn't there a better & super fast way I can just know everything and go catch tons of huge bass every trip ? A-Jay
  8. Routine attire consists of a Jock Strap & a Sailors Cap ~ Both worn inside out & backwards. A-Jay
  9. A Summer night of Bass Fishing just wouldn't be complete without the three B's . . . Bugs in your eyes & up your nose. Bats hitting your line, triggering useless hooksets. And That cursed Beaver - Blasting it's tail on the water 3 feet from your head causing heart palpitations & the need for new pair of draws. Good Times. A-Jay
  10. Walk off win with a walk tonight ~ Heck of a way to begin the second half of the season No doubt, NY gave this one away ~ we'll take it though - A-Jay
  11. Bagley Small Fry Crappie ~ A-Jay
  12. Congrats ~ Photo's are not showing up. A-Jay
  13. @moguy1973 Check out the features on this unit- Something similar would certainly addresses your concerns. I have this and it works as advertised. https://www.amazon.com/GoPro-Waterproof-Activated-Official-Accessory/dp/B01LWW1ZK9/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500049430&sr=8-1&keywords=gopro+voice+activated+remote A-Jay
  14. Fish what you believe to be good fish holding structure with decent cover on it with a single Colorado blade spinnerbait, a jig & craw and a Texas rigged 10 inch ribbon tail worm. Color doesn't matter much as long as it's something you have confidence in. Oh and I forgot to mention the most important part ~ Fish At Night. A-Jay
  15. Me too. The Superview is nice but quite often so is getting a little closer to the action. A-Jay
  16. While we're dreaming here, I'd be up for seeing a voice controlled unit. The technologies are out there. My newest GoPro's can all be used hands free from a distance by simply say "GoPro take a picture" or "GoPro start / stop video". An effective option in the wind is their very small voice activated Wi-Fi remote worn on my shirt color. Once paired with the camera (can manage more than one simultaneously which is cool) it allows me to preform a number of necessary camera actions from a distance & hands free. I can see me being very happy to just say "Ultrex deploy / Recover" or "Ultrex go spot lock" or "jog left 10 ft" or even "Go find the Big Bass". A-Jay
  17. Cool ~ Thanks for throwing out some knowledge right there. I will add that the difference between moving the boat loaded trailer with the 'skate' as compared to the stock 'wheel' is considerable and pretty much stupid easy. Actually made me laugh out loud the first time I tried it. A-Jay
  18. And there ya go ~ A-Jay
  19. This product is produced & distributed by ABT Lures ~ http://abtlures.com/trailer-skate/ I purchased it through TW. A-Jay
  20. Pull the cotter pin and put it in the "Truck Box". A-Jay
  21. Yes the boat trailer. My application involves asphalt & concrete so I can only speculate; but I wouldn't image very well. This unit is removed during travel (cotter pin) and stored in the "truck box" along with the original wheel. So we're still ready for whatever. A-Jay
  22. With the TW 4th of July sale, a little less than two 200 yd spools of 20lb Tatsu. And my potential but now seemingly avoided hernia, thanks me. A-Jay
