  1. I bet you catch a few on it - Not because I think it's a great bait but because a bass will eat a spark plug if given the chance. A-Jay
  2. Replaced this With this Sweet. A-Jay
  3. @McDink Check out Gamakatsu's Magic Eye Short Shank Treble Hook ~ Very nice replacement on that bait. A-Jay
  4. Today I replaced this ~ The old stand by - which is only marginally effective at best With this ~ ABT Lure Trailer Jack Skate Needed a couple of 3/4" wrenches & about 90 seconds - tops. My boat goes into the garage about 1/2 way with the truck and then the last bit of fitment is done by A-Jay power. This is totally the way to go. Designed to make tight space maneuverability much easier and it definitely does. Could also help eliminating hook up frustration because if I wanted or needed to, now I can easily bring the boat to the truck. It's a Heavy Duty 11 inch Triangular Jack Skate System made of 6061 Grade Aluminum with a 525 lb weight capacity. Sports Heavy Duty Urethane Wheels w/ swivel casters, zinc coated bearings & a locking brake. Highly Recommended. A-Jay
  5. @12poundbass I've tried to make night time bassing video's more than a couple of times. Between the humidity at night totally soaking the lens and the light I need to make it, blinding me - they all end up looking more like a cross between The Blair Witch Project & something that was left on the cutting room floor of a bad Jacques Cousteau episode. So needless to say, it's been tough sledding. I'll keep at it and eventually I hope to get something decent & worth posting. Stay Tunes sports fans. A-Jay
  6. Too bad. You do not need to throw trebles at night but with a little practice & some intestinal fortitude, for every chunk you can catch in the summer during the day - there's a decent chance you can get 3 at night. And you'll most likely have the majority of the water to yourself. A-Jay
  7. Last time I looked, Vegas has you betting $750 to make $100 ~ I'll not be donating my $$ for this circus act - A-Jay
  8. The majority of water I'm fishing now are seriously multi-species. So depending on the depth & water temps I'm fishing - "other species" can & does include a variety of by-catch 'dinner selections'. A-Jay

  18. My style has change over the years. Started out I just what to catch a bass - any bass and it didn't matter what I had to do to get one. Then I wanted to catch lots of bass. Then I wanted to catch big bass. Then I wanted to catch Lots of big bass. Then I wanted to catch bass the way I want to catch bass. (which may or may not be the best way) Currently I'm looking to catch lots of big bass the way I want to catch them - pretty sketchy. A-Jay
  19. Love this treble. Unless it's a suspending / weight critical bait, this ones on every treble hook bait in the boat. Accordingly I purchased a couple of bulk ( 25 - 100 ct ) deals on it. They arrived without a box or any 'Mustad' packaging of any kind, although they we advertised as such. Sadly, they did not seem like The Same Hook. The originals are a definite Black Chrome - every bulk hook I ever purchased seemed sort of bronze and definitely Not the Same Hook. I no longer purchase them and stick with the Originals. YMMV A-Jay
