Yea no joke dude!!!! I have the same problem with some of my other buddies to. Everytime I take off when they are supposed to be off they have to work... It sux but one day maybe when the kid able to go is when we will hook up haha

I have a large private lake that I would like to hit up with some of the guys from here if they are interested. Unfortunatlley i am only able to bring one person at a time since the owner doesn't want a lot of people on the lake and is scared of lawsuits. So I would like to make 2 days out of it. Don't worry he will shake tha bait. I have hooked bass that had lure in their mouth's before and they were fine. I wouldn't even loose any sleep over it.

Fish Deep Bass tend to go deep during a bad storm and they will then head to the area where the new water will be coming in.

I would say to throw larger jig trailers. The larger the bait the larger the fish. From what i have found anyways. Depending on the movement of water is the way I determine what size jig to use. I like to stick with 1/4oz jigs. for ponds and lakes but rivers i use a 1/2oz jig. I like to feel the bottom when fishing a jig. the larger the trailer you put on the jig the larger the fish has to be to eat it. JMO Good luck to you!!!

Great looking fish!!!! 8-) BTW I would not put a trailer hook on the frog. Another way to rig them is to take a weedless hoko and rig it regular and take the weed guard and clip it onto the hook. This way I have caught more fish then trying to yank the hook through the bait. Just my 2 cents
