my resume draft pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeeeee help many mistakes
A few years ago I was sponsored by Nationwide Insurance company and all I had to do is go talk to my local agent. They had been my insurance company ever since I had been driving. They helped me out they gave me over 5 thousand dollars to help me with the years many tournaments. I was unable to fish many of the tournaments and I lost the sponsorship for that year. If you are looking for a sponsor make sure you can provide for them! Do not just look out for yourself here. That was my main mistake. If you know you cannot make all the tournaments dont bother asking. They want someone that is willing to be like another employee for them. They want you to go to boat/outdoor shows and advertise for them. It sounds so much easier then it actually is. Many times they asked me to go I was wanting to fish I went to several shows and when I went I would have to speak in front of large crowds about this insurance company and I looked like a fool becuse I was unable to show what I did for them. Just remember this and learn from my mistakes. Good luck to you friend!

Hard Fishing the Potomac River
I have been killing myself out on the Potomac River here recently. I have been reading these forums for several months now and I finally decided to get an account so I could ask a few questions. I normally fish out of Aquia Creek and I bought an annual pass for Hope Springs which I will have to agree with some other guys that say it is highway robbery!!! But $15.00 for one time is too so I figured it would be worth it. I work as a Deputy Sheriff and I work shift work where I have so much time off and I'm always thinking about fishing. But when I go out fishing I have a very difficult time actually catching enough fish to where I would be comfortable to fish a tournament and feel as if I could win. I recently fished a tournament series out of leesylvania with LAPR and my fishing partner and I only brought 1 fish to the weigh-in. When I watched other guys bring their huge bags of bass up I was astounded! I thought the fish just were not bitting that good that day. But apparently those other guys knew the tricks to get them. So I tried talking to some of the guys but they kinda looked at me as if I was stupid for asking. So I just left it alone and then this last weekend we fished another tournament out of Aquia Creek and I had one of my best days out on the water and yet I was only able to bring 2 decent keepers in the boat. We fished mainly the grass flats since the water temp was almost 65 degrees and we were slamming the smaller bass around 12-14 inch and as you know you can't weigh-in anything under 15" now. I just want someone to tell me what I need to do to step up my game. I really enjoy fishing and I thought I was really a good fisherman until i wasn't able to perform. I even thought about getting rid of the boat I just bought last year. But my fiance talked me out of it for now. So can someone please help me out. Like I said I have lots of time off and I spend the majority of my days out on Aquia I have a green older style Nitro Bass Boat with a Mercury/Tracker 115 motor and I drive a red f-250. If you see me stop me and talk. If anyone knows some info to help me I would love to hear from you, and if anyone just wants to meet up with me I always have a spare seat on the boat! Thank You for your time!!!

Germantown Lake Faquier County Virginia
Just for the record its not faquier county it is FaUquier County... But let me tell you about Germantown Lake. This lake has it's good days and it also has it's Great days!!! I have been out there and only caught about 4-5 bass and other days I can catch as much as 150 LMB. I have never caught a SMB here but I have pulled quite a few lunkers out of here. My biggest was a 7lb LMB and for that lake that size is great. Right now the water is still in the mid to upper 50's and you will want to use a Green Pumpkin or Pumkin seed 6-7" worm rigged texas style. When you fish this bait fish it very slow and they will bite. I was out there about 2 weeks ago and I bagged about 35 fish that ranged from 1-4.5 lbs. I rated that day as a good day. If any one would like to go just let me know I have a very loose schedule as I am a Deputy Sheriff for Fauquier County and we work shift work.

anyone ever fish lake brittle near warrenton?
Lake Brittle is a Great lake to fish. I would have to agree with the other guy here, you are going to need finesse baits. This lake is so slammed on a nice day with weekend warriors that the fish are very skidish. Take your time fishing this lake. The very best place to fish is pretty much the middle of the lake. The lake is shaped like an hour-glass and if you fish the small canal that runs from the entrance of the lake to the larger part of the lake it will drop to about 12'-15' that is where you will be getting most of your fish.
