Great bait to fish on a drop shot,and I also fish them on a jika rig or a split shot rig with a EWG size 1 or a 1/0.

I have a 04 Merc.EFI 150 and it may need a pump or inpeller. Is this something that I can do myself? Or should I say is it hard to do? I hate to give a dealer $200 bucks if it is a easy job?

To answer your question better! I fish this rig in heavy weeds and lack of weeds.It is a great punch rig because the way it falls and the free movement of the bait.I like this rig alot on deep outside weedlines.Lizards,baby paca craws,baby Brush Hogs,swimbaits,flukes,.ect.

I am going to fish it with a 1 oz. for deep outside weedlines and for flippin the heavy stuff. But most of the time I will fish 1/8 oz. 1/2 oz.3/8 oz. and a 1/4 oz. it just depends on how deep and fall rate I want.

Just a heads up= Try using the Norman Speed Clips for the weight and now you can change weights very fast! It works great,you can change weights in seconds.

I agree with the other posts= 4 hrs. on one Senko,that has to be a world record!!!!! I am doing great with getting 6 fish on one but the ave.is like 3 or 4. I can see fishing it for 4 Hrs. and just 3 or 4 bites???

These are great worms! I have fished them on a T-rig,C-rig,split shot them, and I will cut some of the body off and use them as a jig trailer. You can't fish them wrong just let the bass tell how they want them!

Number one for me is the Brush Hog, then a jig,then a Jitterbug in black!

I guide at night and I fish alot of deep water and a black 3/4 or 1oz.jig slow rolled on deep weedlines will get your rod jerked out of your hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For what it is worth! The only hook that i fish on the DS is the VMC Spinshot hooks. I love these hooks,they are sticky sharp and no line twist. And I fish a double DS and cover alot more water!!!!

A few years back we were night fishing and we went in for a beer and a burger! My buddy told me he was going to check on the boat and he did see two big guys in our boat, my buddy is like little Bruce Lee, I got the beer and burgers and started out across the parking lot only to see my bud and two guys ready to go at it.Next thing I see is one of them take a punch at my bud and soon it was all over! He put some kind of hurtin on them,we went back out and fished!!!!!

I like a weighted hook in a 2/0 or a 3/0.

There are times when a rattle can turn them off I think! I have fished a jig alot, with rattles and some days the jig bite does not seem to be on! But before I put the jig rod down I have a jig without rattles and there have been many times they start to bite the non rattle jig, it has saved me more than once and saved some tournaments for me! I am not sure why one ( same lake )day they bite the rattle jig good and the next day no! Buy be before you give up on the jig try both!

Thanks for the info! I will be moving down to Kimberling City.And I would have a John deer room for the lawn toys! My wite has her car and my boat pulling truck and my Triton and my wife's car gets the garage,go figure! I have alot of plastic bags to hang!

I have caught a ton of bass on the Chompers twin tail grub.I fish them on football heads,T-rig,and I will fish them on the Jika rig this year.I also fish them on a Mustad weighted hook! Great bait!

What was I thinking,I never thought about the heat factor! DAAAAAAAAAAA!Now I have to look for a house with another bedroom! LOL

I will be buying a home with a 3 1/2 garage and i want to store my baits in the garage and use peg board and pegs to hang my baits.Any other ideas or pictures of yours would help.
