  1. Welcome intermediate. Good group of people!
  2. Thanks RoadWarrior, I'm on it!
  3. Glenn, can you tell me were it's at so I can take a gander at it? Thanks, Brian
  4. My nephew is about your age. Just had knee surgery Thursday. Up until then he had been pounding the muskey and smallies up here on the river. He's out for about 3 months. Probably no decent shoreline fishing for a month anyhow. He's hoping that he'll be ready for football. Do whatever you need to take care of that knee, and keep that casting arm in shape! Good luck
  5. Creek Chub.........anyone remember?
  6. Actually you should do well with them early morning or late evening. I've mostly done better torwards VERY late eveings. Keep it up.
  7. Glenn, I just watched the video. Don't know if I'm in *** of you guys being more able to get together because of the geographics , or because of the loads of fun you all looked like you were having. Either way, great vid. Brian
  8. X2 on poor_fish. Have bought 16 or 18 reels over the last 6 months off of E-bay. Every sale was solid. Watch their feedback score. Anything under 97%, check the specific feedback and find out why they got the negatives. Also, when your looking for specific reels, punch them up different ways. abu ambassadeur, garcia, abu garcia, even misspell the name sometimes brings up sales not normally found. Try to find reels that end at off peak hours and if you pay more than 10 0r 12 dollars shipping, that's too much. Goodluck!
  9. My thanks also to the men and women who have served either in war or peace. These men and women are truely our backbone!!
  10. Nice job! Projects like that a guy don't mind doing. Hope you catch alot of 'em with it.
  11. I'm not much on reality shows, but those mentioned are all good ones. The ones like Survivor are the ones that make me want to vomit. Axmen, Deadliest Catch..........they are "real" reality shows.
  12. Had the day off today. Worked on my boat all afternoon. When I got done I looked at the lawn mower, then the boat, then the gas gauge on the truck. $25 went into the boat gas tank and $15 in the truck. Oh well, the lawn ain't going anywhere.
  13. Thanks for the help guys. I have 1 peice fins that are grooved so as to fit over and under the cavitaton plate for thru bolt mounting. as for the "anodizer", it's about 1 1/4" x 2" and has 2 1/4" thru bolts.
  14. Iv'e already made up my mind through doing alot of listening and reading to try a set of hydrofoil fins on my 35 hp mariner. On the anti cavitation plate where they mount is what I believe is an anodizer.?? Can I move it more forward on the anti cavitation plate, or should I notch out the hydro foil fin so it fits around it. Can someone please educate me as to what that little gizzywhopper is actually all about. I'm under the assumption that it somehow prevents corrosion, but locally the answers I get are conflicting. My thanks to anyone that can help me out.
  15. Good luck. Hope everything goes smooth!
  16. brgbassmaster, are you getting nervous about your new batteries? LOL

  21. I'm trying to get my boss to build a stable so I can buy a horse and ride it to work! No dice.
  22. Brgbassmaster, Remember to check the leads on the depth finder BEFORE you fire this one up! LOL
  23. Sweet fish, I can only dream!
  24. Looks like you have a pretty good jump on your boat. Nice thing about building from scratch, you can keep after it until you get whqt you want. Maybe if you had a livewell to on side between the front and middle bench off to one side, you could offset the front seat alittle and counter balance by filling the livewell??
