  1. Definitely needed a shorter half time this year.
  2. The lead is doable but I could stand another 7, BTW, Aguilar stunk! And a pick off as I write.....
  3. Tommy Lee Jones, Sam Elliot, and Tom Selleck should get an honorable mention. 8-)
  4. From the looks of your pic, I would say about late 30's ;D On the very down side of 43 here. 8-)
  5. Guess it's been awhile since I watched wrestling, Baron Von Raschke style antics don't seem so radical anymore........wow :
  6. We don't have accents, everyone else does! ;D Congrats Nate!!
  7. Green and gold baby! Around here the mere utterance of any other is grounds for tar and feathering 8-) "I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious." -VL
  8. I guess when I started this thread it was because I thought it was weird that someone backed with a big corporate name would take the time to call someone out on a game. The last time I played anything similar, it was Asteroids (early 80's). I didn't realize how serious gaming really was until reading some of these posts. Bob's Pizza Haven was the only place in town to have one and I was the king of the world.......man what a step up that was from playing Atari Combat! 8-)
  9. An 11 year old gets labeled a cheater: http://www.q13fox.com/news/kcpq-xbox-labels-autistic-child-01252011,0,5767271.story
  10. Okay, unless I missed it being posted up, Here's a joint for you guys to check out. It's not pure beef but it's definitely different: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_tucson_african_lion_tacos Someone in the Tuscson area needs to let us know......... 8-)
  11. Hate to have to agree, but if Hanie could have got the game to OT, I think they would have. Go Packers !!
  12. When you play you play to win, there's no tapping out in basketball. It seems that some in society have decided that it's not healthy for our egos and self esteem to be beat like a drum. Losing is part of life, if your gonna have the chance to lose take the experience and learn from it. The coach said he apologized and didn't intentionally do anything to hurt them or upset them. Why apologize, if you going into a game knowing that you could or will lose, you go in and play your heart out with your head high and take it on the chin. As long as the winning team remains gracious and respectful after the game I'd say the coach and team did right.
  13. For those who would like to express on-line condolences to the family: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/houstonchronicle/obituary.aspx?page=lifestory&pid=147951000
  14. Looks like some kinda grading sector...maybe from something belly mounted, like an old Allis grader or a pony grader. Not sure about the pieces of round stock sticking up though.
  15. One down, one to go. Let's see if the Jets can pull it off. I thought the Pack was gonna let that one go there for a while. Boy when Rodgers was on he was on but when he was off...woof : Raji needs a kick in the tail gear for one handing that interception into the end zone.
  16. Packers and the Jets= Brett Farve @ home watching it on TV 8-)
  17. Sock in the lake? This may be your problem with successful drop shotting. There's more productive ways of scenting your soft plastics. ;D BTW, no ice fishing for this cheese head. The drop shotting thing is out too. 8-)
  18. Posted by: Uncle Leo Posted on: Today at 7:19am OMG Brian, do not open it. One of our companies is in Milwaukee and we sent them something that was steaming when it left. Be careful my friend. Leo, I wouldn't expect anything less from you.....good luck Sunday, you'll need it! Posted by: Bassnajr Posted on: Today at 7:46am Tell you what....that is funny right there!!!! Grin ....good sense of humor too on your part!!!! Our Patriots took the pipe!!! One thing you can say about the Jets is they "Walked the walk"!! It was too funny not to laugh....they were definitely getting their digs in ;D
  19. I had never personally talked with Jack but he was always the gentleman....sorry to hear the sad news. This is truly a great loss for BR and our members, he was a BR anchor. :'( My heart felt condolences to his family, Brian
  20. I received a package today from a parts warehouse out of Tinley Park IL. Apparently it became a mobile graffiti board before it hit the Wisconsin border, Bears fans posted their literary quips all over the box, including go home cheeseheads. ;D Couldn't help but laugh when my secretary showed me this. It's definitely game on! 8-)
  21. Congrats on the new addition Nate! Glad all is well.
  22. X2 Leo, by week 3 I had all but given up on a .500 season for the Pack......sorry I doubted Sunday is gonna be a showdown! 8-)
