I bought a couple of the casting rods and have since turned them over to my nephew. For the money they weren't a bad purchase but some suggested in the past that they had issues with the inserts falling out of the line guides. Neither of the two that I bought had any problems with this.

Wow, this is ridiculous. And to top it off I made an innocent comment here that mysteriously disappeared...I don't know what happened after I logged off before, either I got slammed or my post was misinterpreted. All I know is that a while ago there was talk of another sub forum, at this point maybe the "everything else" section needs to go, that way all of the other pointless threads can take a powder too. Geesh! Sorry Glenn, you've been good to me and BR is great place, but lately it's getting harder and harder to come here and read about anything.
