My 6.6 Extreme's overall lenght including the reel seat is 15.50" rear cork=8.75" front cork=2.50" real seat =4.25" they're actually pretty nice....those measurments are not exactly perfect but very very close. Hope this helps? Looking to possibly sell mine if your interested. AC500

im just about to send a fellow BR member some $$$ for an Avid spinner.....the rod will come with a reel but I'm considering an upgrade in the near future. My buget sits about $150 to $200, I know Shimano has high quality stuff, but Im not a sheep, but rather a shepard. Anythoughts.

is this a line that can be used for all purpose?

I've been fishn w/ Trilene XT & XL for years it's been pretty decent over the years but Im lookin for a step up, I dont tourny fish jus some weekender stuff. I run Med, Med Hvy rods and Abu Garcia casting reels, and a couple spinning reels.....what are your thoughts on spooling both. Thanks guys.

Im not nearly as big time as most of the guys in here but I've been fishing fora long time....I like the BPS rods myself, I think between I've got about 7 sittn on the rack, couple Xtremes,BB,Rick Clunn. Somebody probably makes them for em, Im not sure who. I've had good luck with them, but I will admit Im looking to try a a real high end rod this year. Maybe an Avid or an E21 Carrot, Kistler, something on those lines.

Im workin on that....I met a guy that brings his son to school w/ my daughtr, he lives right on Harkney Hill and has a right away to the pond...I always thought the Bunc had big fish...or was there only one big fish in there

fri mornin, 5/23 8:25, I just stopped by that Mossup Church on Hawkney Hill Rd(i wrk 3rd shft) hookd a tiny lil guy on the church then crossed the road for 1 round 2lbs....gettn a lil better. Im not sure if I should hit Stump or Carbunkle Sun morn. Anythoughts?

Ive been hitting this pond for the last couple weeks hard, seems like everything in there is on the small side, I havnt yeilded anything over 2 lbs, is this a productive pond or more of a waste of time? Im partial to Wordens, and have done well at Carbunkle and somoe of the outlets that run off Jonhsons, ie, Zekes,Isle of Capri and over by the church side.

did a search but not much luck, anybody usin a Sears DieHard Marine battery for their trolling motor duties, the TM will be main propulsion for my 10 JB. Thanks. Jus courious how they hold up.

heres my 10' JB with seats....more to com later....jus ordered the clamps. At first I thought the seats were close but they seem ok. I did a lil walk around Stump Pond on Mon and had the same results as masssilversrt4, although I never had the chance to land anything a buddy hook 2 LMS both around 1.5lbs...they all seemed skitish and the water would boil like bait fish off the shore at Quanny...

I understand completely D3....not taken as argumentitive at all, I was clearly passing on some info I heard,...but what I did learn was that there are to be some monster smallies in that pond and well as LMBs, I'll chat with the guy Mon morn and see what else came of it.

Dont shot me....but I was told the state shocked the Aquidneck in Coventry off Harkney Hill a while back, Im not sure of the source but he's had acess to the pond and has been fishing it for a few years now. I thought the state did random ponds through out....not just Wordens.

Sweet....Im a native RI'er, an ol fishin bud hooked a nice pickerel outta this lil honey hole in Warwick several years back thru the ice and I thought he's wasa nice fish....so big he had it mounted...but dam that that is a monster....nice pike btw. Can do pic's on PB just figured it out. As to the pikckerel Daaaaaaaaaah! ;D I think at 46 and fishing since 5years old I think I can tell the difference : DEFFINATELY A 6+ PIKE! Here's my 7.8lb Pickerel from 2007 on Watchuag. Yes I broke the RI record, No I didn't register!

this may sound funny but....roll or spray....I never painted a alu boat before.

I noticed you mentioned a Valspar paint from TS...I stopped by my LTS 2da and they only had oil based tractor and impliment paint...is this what you used? Thanks
