stay away from box store trash, and no one said you have to spend $1500 bux. you'll find plenty of brand name sticks on ebay. trust me, you dont want a set of clubs from WallyWorld, if I'm mistaken I thought I read "I want quality stuff" not tomato stakes for the garden ;D

stay away from new gear unless of course its shoes, good shoes were a GREAT suggestion from hammer4, Foot Joy has always been my long time favorite, but they dont come cheap and DONT buy cheap. a decent bag is anything with a back pack type strap, but no need to go over board, Ogio makes some real great bags and they come reasonable on ebay. I dont know your body type nor your athletic ability so a club recommendation is a difficult one. But if I may suggest, a steel shaft, not graphite for the irons. If your strong and think you'll swing hard then go with stiff, if your planning on a smooth tempo non aggressive swing then go regular, I'd say and swear by regular 1st and learn how to play the game. Woods, graphite shafts all the way, pick the driver up in stiff, look for 10.5* degree, give you a little more lift and easier to hit then say an 8* or 9*. Worry about tearing the cover off the ball after you can keep it in play. 3,5 and sometimes a 7wood. 3 and 5 are a must, I think the 7wood will help you more where a long iron shot will come into play. your bag should be: Driver, 3wd, 5wd, 7wd. 4,5,6,7,8,9,W sand wedge, lob wedge, and a putter. thats 14 and thats all you can have. Take a real good long look at Taylor Made, they offer everything your looking for and you'll find awsome deals on ebay. RAC LT II's are an incredible iron for what your looking to acheive, The Taylor Made R5 is a great driver and if you can still find a 510 grab it, it was one of the easiest drivers to hit. I too am looking into kayaks , I've opted out of the whole jonboat thing or such like it . I want ease, portability, fishibilty and of course stability. I want to toss it in the back of the truck and go, if it sits there for a couple days locked down then so beit, I dont need to concern my self with trailers, motors, registrations and everything involve in boating. I may be an avid fishermen but that doesnt necessarly mean I need a boat to do so. Im buying a Kayak for my 2010 season, I've come across a couple that caught my eye. J Francho's Ocean Kayak Big Game Prowler is one and the Wilderness Systems Ride 135 top my list. look at the Malibu Stealth 12, a beauty on the water as well.

Sweet, Allison is an incredible boat, I dont think they get the credit they really deserve. In 1988 a few of the guys went on a guided trip to Okeechobee to hook up some rather large LMB's. The guide had a 21ft Allison and that boat was pushing 65 plus mph with 4 of us. Fell in love that day, incredible rig.....nice job.

go easy, your about to push that boat to the limits, I did a small deck in my boat and it became overloaded and sat low in the water, I used all wood construction. If I was doing it over I'd use the aluminum. I wont knock glassing over the ply's but you wont need it. Do the job right and spend a little extra, use marine grade ply's, I've read several places pressure's are a no no on aluminm. Find the alum braces, rivits and small screws, stay away from solid wood and bulk screws and nails, waaaay to heavy. Keep us posted.

your missing my point, and Im not making you look bad at all, I could giva crap if the Yanks go any further in the series, they're a step ahead of the Sux and thats all tht matters to me, just to put the screws to my Sux fan friends is enough. Ive seen more WS wins as Yanks fan in my time, it takes 2 teams combined in over 35 years to beat that. So screw the Sux and thier 2 friggen wins in the 89 years.
