  1. I'll go along with that Mad, but it's one step further then the Sox made it this year, so Im good. But y'all havta admit, A-Rods never played this well, and if he keeps it rolling your looking at 2 run homers all day long, you know Tex isa solid player and can drop a bomb or a base hit, and with him ahead A-Rod, well then we know the outcome. Some one get B-itchenkid a tissue Please. Buhuhuhhahahaa
  2. 1st off, if the shoe was on the other foot you'd be the first to run your loud *** obnoxious mouth. Now you'll have plenty of time to enjoy that snack your digging out of your nose. Typical Sux fan, when your winning you bragging and when your loosing your hating. Enjoy the rest of the season ;D
  3. All I can say is look whos talking know ;D And in all honestly if they go no further then this, Im happy they went one step further the the Sox. But it sure looks as though A-Rods finally broke the curse
  4. I was so glad to see the Broncos win that game...gotta love that 5-0, Go Giants
  5. if you can take it apart inspect all the wires, a friends motor was doing the same, come to find there were bare wires in there that were touching and shorting it out..
  6. shooter check out the Hobie Pro Angler its a great rig, I'd say JFrancho will be here soon...he has an awsome set up
  7. I agree with you wagn, they are great lil rigs for what they are and do but will never take the place of a larger boat..
  8. Anything that floats is a boat or a craft, I've fished off a Raider for years, this a great lil rig for what it's worth. I think Id rather have the Raider other then a jon, the Raider has more stability then a jon and will last just as long if properly taken care of. And yes I've owned both and my pick is Raider. Here's something might help him out...how much wake can the bass raiders take? I should say, what would be the threshold that you would say safe/unsafe comes at with them? I had a 1436 jon, I added a bilge to it, and really felt comfortable in waves up to 3 ft. 4 was pushing it. That being said it was RARE I ever had a wave come over the side. Im thinking about a 3 or 4ft wave, and if you ask me that would swamp a jonboat, I've been in some pretty choppy stuff. I grew up in the ocean and 3 and 4ft waves may not sound like much but add a small 14ft boat to that mix and it'll get dang hairy ina hurry.
  9. yup yup. although not a Minnesota native I did live there for a couple years, my first thought was the Twin Cities.

  11. Yup, thats why Im looking into the inflatable pfds
  12. if that statement is true, then even I know the Yankess have no chance,
  13. no son you misunderstood not just MLB but "most titles of any major- sports franchises in North America"
  14. Yup, first of all glad you are here to post about the loss. Second though was- what's the water temp and depth? Swimable? Diveable? Draggable? thanks flechero, yes to all the above, we may go back on fri to try and drag a bit....its about 10ft and weedy in the section we were at. Thanks guys I did call them and Im sending it in, I noticed theres a little more to it a then broken handle. :'(
  15. you are correct "Never Could Happen To Me" syndrome. Actually I do a have a very nice PFD, it's always mounted to my 10ft jonboat, and I fish with a guy in here that'll tell you its always there. I just want everyone to realize how quickly this can happen and Please be safe. Makes perfect sense Matt.
  16. The handle snapped off my Tierra 2500 yesterday when our boat capsized, able to retrieve the Daiwa/GBlanks but lost the STX/Kistler, I was looking for some online dealers and only came up with Mikes Reel Repair, prices are good but the fact that its going to cost me more to ship then actual parts themselves? Anythoughts?
  17. my $125 STX and $160 Helium LTA, which now sits in the bottom of a local pond due to yesterdays capsize.
  18. never seen thier boats or trailers but heres what I think about thier motors. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1254769517
  19. its all in good poking fun if ya ask me, I dont take this crap serious, win or lose I like the Yanks, and theres nothing I can do to change how they play..
  20. TY BB, a good knock in the head and one of use could've been out.
  21. My good friend and I were out early this morning fishing our private little spot. When all of sudden the 12ft jon boat we were in began to roll and threw me off balance, both of us were sitting, suddenly I was leaning over the side knowing all too well I was going to get wet...when my friend tried to pull the boat back and lean the other way it was to late, we both were in the water. I went down like a rock with all the heavy clothing and boots and he popped back up before I did. We both came up to find one another OK. The boat capsized and our gear was gone before we could gain any composer, 45 Min's in the colder RI waters it became a challenge to get the boat closer to shore so we could stand and rest. Finally after flipping the craft and bailing her out, what nearly took an hour we were back in the boat, exhausted. We took a quick breather and my friend attempted to start the 5hp Nissan, to our surprise the motor fired up and ran choppy for a couple minutes, cleared out and ran like new. My hats off to that little Nissan motor, after spending nearly an hour submerged she came to life. Very impressive little motor. Back on dry land we assessed the damage, he lost 2 rods and a tackle box. I lost my favorite rod and reel and a small tackle bag and a camera. I'll tell you this, we had 0 PFDs on the boat, it's just something we've always overlook but will never be left on dry land again. After close to 35 plus years on the water I've never had an incident like this nor did I think it could ever happen to me. Please, my friends and fellow members here on BR. Please be Safe "it happened all so fast.
  22. Well how nice, the Sox have 2 in the last 4 years, hmmm, let me think a moment..I see 98,99,2000 to me that looks like 3 ina row, I also see 77,78 but Im sure your a little to young to remember those. It's only taken the Sux 86 years to win another. Also the Yankees have actually lost more WSC then the Sox have actually had the chance to play in. So with the most titles of any major-sports franchises in North America. The Sox could win the next 10 in a row, and still not match the Yankees. You wont be around long enough to see it. ;D
  23. Once you threaten them with their two choices, inform that their site will be made public to every bass fishing forum you frequent, that there are over 50,000 + viewers and members on these forums. Also educate them on how "the Internet is a powerful place" and word can spread at streaming rates, you'll be interested to hear how their Internet sales rapidly plumages over the next couple weeks or so until this incident blows over. And of course a polite sign off is necessary. I often complete with this little statement that peaks their interest. Faithfully commeted to destroying your busniess. Sincerely GMAN
  24. take this for the "my $.02" Personally I'd drop that deck down below the bench seat and just level out the floor. Leveling that 14ft to the top is very risky, think of of like this: after you've put all the time and effort and money into building this project you may very well find a wider 14ftr and want to go that way instead. Im looking for a boat too, but not jumping into something I'll regret down the road, a 14ftr here in RI is just about a perfect little craft with all our ele only ponds...but before I pull the trigger on somthing its going to wide enough. Good Luck
