KVD Reel Vs. Code Red
These reels seem very similar, does anyone know of any differences, If they are the same, you can pick up the code red for consistently lower prices than the KVD reel.

Rods as a Non Boater
I'm gonna fish tournaments this season for the first time, I will be fishing as a non boater. I know every boater has different rules, but i want to hear from some non-boaters even some boaters and see how many set ups you have been able to bring as a non boater?

Braided Line
I like using Braid, but the visibility becomes an issue, The camo braids and the invisibraids are supposed to help this. Has any one had any luck with this or have a preferable brand of either invisible braid or camo braid. I know spider wire makes both and berkley makes the invisible fireline. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Would this be a good 10 inch worm and jig combo?
I would look into a different reel if i were you. There seems to be many problems with the megaforce. Right now you can get the bass pro extreme reel for that cost and it is a much better reel.

Which type of live bait is best for BASS?
I live in upstate new york and i sued to only fish nightcrawlers when i was younger and i always seemed to catch fish.

How and where to fish the zara spook?
personally, ive had the most success early in the morning and as it nears night time. im sure it can work mid day as well. but mainly fished them over weed beds. I like the baby bass as well, but my friend has had quite a bit of success with the bone color. good luck!

Cutting Braid
I read about this in a bass master magazine and it works great... You take the little metal piece from the top of a dental floss container and it works like a charm. very inexpensive and highly effective. you can either leave it on the container or take it off and super glue it to the bottom of the end of your rod for convenience

Soft body swimbaits
I have had luck with the Luck E Strike swimbaits, they were not very durable, im sure there are better ones out there. However, no matter which ones you use, if you are looking for a more enticing wobble attach a split ring to eye of the hook. This will greatly improve the action. Good Luck!

Pline fluorocarbon verses floroclear

why 1 piece aluminum frame on reels

Anyone tried the Coffee Scented Tubes from Strike King.
Personally, they are my favorite tube. Despite the argument on weather the bass enjoy the coffee scent, the fact is that the coffee masks the human scent which is always a plus. But the reason i like them is because their action is great and are extremely durable.
