St. Croix Legend Extreme's with Daiwa Steez 103L's
for sensitivity, braid cannot be matched, very smooth for flipping and/or pitching, defiantly worth a shot. Good luck

Took apart my first reel today...
Hot sauce is designed specifically for the Quantum PT bearings so you probably dont want to use that on a STX

I dont like ribbits......am i crazy?
you should never think youre crazy if you don't like a bait or if it isnt working for you, every person has their own set of likes and dislikes. If its not for you its not for you, there are plenty of other options, if the torpedo and devil's horse are working for you then just stick with those.

Radio while fishing?
it really depends, most of the time no when it matters, or im with friends, sometimes when im by my self and go fishing as a stress reviler i will. but the sound of nature is a lot more effective However before a tournament i can see my self doing it to get myself in the zone lol

Braid on Topwaters
supposedly braid can effect the action of a top water bait, but without knowing this last year i used it and had success with it. maybe i would have done better with mono. But yes you can definitely use a mono leader. here is a line guide that was very helpful to me: http://www.another site/articles/fishing-line-guide/

o-rings
I do not use an o-ring thing, but if you buy a bic wide body pen and just take the guts out of it so its just the shell it will do the same thing for you and it will only cost you a dollar and a few pennies from staples

clearing painted jig eyes?
I bought a tool for ice fishing jigs because many of those come with painted over eyes, the tool was somewhere around $.99 from wallyworld and works wonders, imo its a lot easier than using a point of a hook, but everyone is different and what works for me i'm sure isnt the optimal solution, just giving you another option.

Powell rods on tackle warehouse...
I'm looking at the powell max spinning rods, has any one use either the: 6' Med XF 603MEF or the 6' Med Hvy EF. What are your opinions on these, how much more stiff is the med hvy than the hvy? Would the med hvy be too stiff to throw weightless plastics on. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks! http://www.***.com/descpageRDSPOWELL-PMS.html

Help with buying new plastics
you CAN rig them anyway you want, drop shot, t-rig, c-rig, shakey head, with a jig head, etc... the two ways i do the majority of my tube fishing is texas rigged and rigged on a jig head. For the texas rig, i use a bullet weight with the actual weight dependent on the depth i am fishing and the fall rate i want. I like this way best because you can make it weedless.

Help with buying new plastics
Strike King coffee tubes, robo worms, slug-os, senkos... these all are good in the green pumpkin, watermelon, black and blue colors.

How should I do this?
I love the stealth braid, I think its at least worth a try on one of your setups, i would just keep it away from the crankbait rod
-
Jig colors
it depends what water clarity you are fishing in, in clear situations the natural colors work wonders( greenpumpkins, and watermelons). For stained water you might want to try the brighter colors just my opinion.

Transporting Rods??
