Exactly, I was planning on putting it in that section. But i'm not sure what model to get so I was thinking that if anyone was looking for one they could have some input on what model i get.

I have an xmg50 rod that has a broken eye. They no longer make them, so for the warranty it should be replaced with a certified pro. I'm not a huge fan of the certified pro so I am considering selling it. and I thought if someone had a specific model in mind I could get that one

any one out there have the 6'9" MH xf casting? I was thinking about getting it for senkos. It concerns me that everyone says they are very stiff, but I was thinking the xf tip would allow the bait to load and cast it plenty far. any thoughts?

I love skipping senkos with my 7' M fast rod. It's actually a bps extreme woo daves cranking rod. gets the job done quite nicely.

i like both the spro and the mad maxx, they are the only ones i've tried and i've had success on both. The mad maxx has a better drainage system, other than that they are very similar

Dobyns!! I have powell rods and don't get me wrong they are great. But Dobyns are even better. I was in the same situation as you looking for a flipping stick and it was between the powell and the dobyns. After a few weeks of research and comparison, David P convinced me to go with the dobyns (Savvy Series) and I'm so glad I did. At 7'6" the rod is superlight, impressively balanced, And extremely sensitive. Go Dobyns you wont be sorry... Enjoy!

i use them, they work great. they have yet to fail me, so i will continue to use them until they fail me.

I really like them, yes the hooks straighten, but I never experienced that from catching a fish, it happens from getting snagged. They are my go to shaky head jig. Go for it man.

anybody out there that does the majority of their shotting on casting gear?

I'm in the collecting stage. I'm at 6 casting 2 spinning, eventually I'd like to have 7 casting 3 spinning. But most likely would never take all ten to a tournament as a non-boater. Before the tournament I talk to the boater and see what he'll be fishing then i usually TRY to limit my self to 6ish. When i'm out in my 12 footer ill bring 4 tops

I use stealth moss green almost exclusively, all the water i fish is pretty clear, and i never felt that having a visible line restricted me from getting any bites. I even sight fish with it and do just fine.

between ebay bucks, bing cashback, and sales, i hardly ever pay full price. Only pay full price when item is at a store and i need it that day or something
