hey guys i have the berkely scale up to 50lbs the black one and i saw that i can put up to ten fish in the memory so i can do a 5 fish best limit. thought that was kool but i got rid of the instructors and cant figure it out can anyone help me ?

just bought my first couple of tiki monkeys in 3 inch and 4 inch . color combos i got were watermelon seed, watermelon red flake, and some green pumpkin. anyone use these and have success . im thinking of fishing them weightless or with a 1/8 oz weights. let me hear it. ;D

u guys work for shimano? hahahahahah u have me sold. but if i do switch lures is it pretty easy to reset the reel? guess ill just have to wait and see. haha how do u guys not get tired of answering questions from guys like me! ;D t-

ok so now here we go. i got the money to spend and im thinking of the citica E 201 l but got a couple of questions about it. 1. I dont see a drag system switch on the side for easy changing of settings so whats up with that? i notice all the shimanos are like that 2. it has a 3+1 bearing system set up so how is that differenct from a 7+1 or more ball bearings. i see cheaper reels with more ball bearings? 3. on the specs it has under line cap 10lbs at 155 yards so does taht mean i can not use 12 lb test? 4. and last after practice will i be able to grow into this reel and not feel the need to upgrade as well. and are there features that help with backlash as i am sure i will have some issues with that Thanks a lot road warrior and the rest of u monkey biting bandits ps what reel should i get to match this for a 7 ft. MH ? ;D

hey fellas im lookin for a left handed bait caster cause ive been using a lefty spinning reel all my life and there hard to find any recommendations? only one i can find is the bps extreme 7 bearings any experiences with that? and question about gear ratios. what application would u use a 7.3.1 with a 6.4.1 with and a 5.4.1 with. im lookin for an overall reel for cranking and spinning and jiggin so im thinking the 6.4.1. and a medium heavy rod with a fast action.? what yall think t-

Saw this thread and thought it was an awesome idea! actually was going to write this up and keep it in my tackle box posted to the inside of the lid. for motivation and reminders. so here are mine 1. [b]Boat management-most of the time im all over the place wasting quality time 2. new techniques- improving my confidence my using more spinner baits, crankbaits, and jigs. none of which i have used before. im a softy plastic kinda guy 3. keep a log of where when and what kinda bait i was using as well as keeping a thermometer 4. get a limit- Try to catch atleast 5 fish a day and for fun keep the weights per day for a all time 5 fish total. 5. TAKE MORE PICTURES AND VIDEOS FOR MYSELF AND FOR YOU TOO SEE i think we should keep this thread for atleast a 8 month period so we can come back to it and see how we all did

okay i fish only soft plastics and i never caught a fish on a spinner bait crankbait or liplesscrank. so my ? is what is the big difference between the lipless crank and the one with a lip and in what situations would u use one verus the other. just ordered the bps sexy shad kit and wondering what situations to use what. thanks for the help fellas t

im looking for a rod i can use for medium crank baits/ and medium to large spinnerbaits. so im thinking good back bone and soft tip so i dont rip it out of their mouth. im not really sure if thats the type of rod i need for those situations. price range is max 80 bucks. any thoughts guys and its for a spinning outfit cause i cant cast a baitcaster for my life. wish i could! hey guys i have a bass pro xps extreme rod for worming and sensitive stuff. i have an ugly stick i use for frogging. so i just need one more rod that can crank and be for spinners caues the ugly stick is too soft. and i think the extreme isnt strong enough ? T-

ya i love it. i cant wait for this spring! the minnows were fun to add and i might have to paint the wall to bring out the colors better and the size of this fish more because the belly of the fish disapears in white background

heys guys trav here again. had a snow day so no work for me today cause of the ice up here in ny and was looking at some other mounts and saw prey involved in the mount so i got creative added in some plastic minnows in the scene with some thing metal wire. i also put on the pin that nys dept. of conservation gave me since i released the fish. think it looks pretty awesome now what are your thoughts? original looks great with my addictions ;D minnows onthe left pin on the right corner of the wood up close

it came around 360 i think. somepeople say too much but im looking at it right now thinking its worth every dollar. and some other places were more and less. so take it for what its worth but when i get my 10lber + sometime in the next 20 years haha ill def have them do it as well. good luck everyone surviving the wait of spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya another place i called said 6 months to a year. and i wasnt sure what i was getting extra by waiting. just like a lil kid on xmas eve i was too impatient!!!! and these guys hit the mark. thanks fellas and i hope u have a good xmas and holidays.

Hey guys ive been waiting for about two and half months since i ordered my replica to arrive. when do you guys generally stop your fishing in the fall because of water temperature. went to the local pond the other day and man the water was already getting cold. so whats ur water temperature cutoff?
