by the length and the fat belly im guessing around 6.5 next time take pictures from the top view. if your able too. i had the same problem about not having a scale and doing the same thing . drove and still makes me wonder how much my fish was. hope this helped. :

well guys i gave it a shot today and this mamoth still is the smartest fish ive ever seen . havent had any luck on the artificials but im gonna try some flourocarbon vanish tomorrow and see how some blind fishing goings. she doesnt get this big in a town pond by being stupid. haha . i cant sleep or go 5 minutes of wondering how big she really is. !!!!!!! i have the bed bass bug baaaaaaaaaaaaaad. ;D

haha and 7 is conservative. lets say its bigger than the fish in my avatar. but shes not on it shes within 10-15 feet of it at all times and backs away from all lures. like she has esp. blaaaaaaah.

Theres a spawning pair at a pond by me. i hooked into the male the other day solid 3 3/4 lber. the female is a pig solid 7lbs. the male is on the bed and easy to target. the femaled is cruising around with the male nipping at her sometimes. so what do i do to catch this hog. she doesnt look at anything im throwing at her including all plastics. shes suspends and doesnt stay in one place for too long and just chases after sunfish. is she in pre or post spawn. i thought that the female would leave after she dropped the eggs. im thinking of using a live blue gill if i can catch them. help asap im going back out before work at 5 am tomorrow. haha

those phantom hooks with the texas rig look nice. thanks for the pictures. do u just stuff that weight into the head of the tube and itll stay on good?

I just got into fishing tubes. what size tubes do u recommend with hook size. i fish mine texas rigged and the stinking hook is wrong its like a pretty large tube. and do you fish it carolina rigged cause mine always floats. lil help would be appreciated with recommened tube size for smalles and hook combos ;D trav

I recently fished a lake that the bass started to get into spawning and staying on nests that were around 1-3 feet of water if not 4-5 . we got some 25-30 mph winds that made gigantic white capes and waves were smashing the shore. the water within 10 feet was filthy. my question are those fish still on those beds even though the waves were strong or would the move off for some sort of protection from the silt and current? im thinknig there still gonna be there on the beds no matter what but idk :-/ trav

Awesome fish. i got one near that size on wednesday. didnt have a scale . heres a wierd question how much larger do u think urs is. i think its close but ur belly may be bigger WISH I HAD A SCALE WITH ME hahahaha.

well the guy who posted new pbpbpbpbp in the more recent post caught a fish what looks like the same size and says its around 8lbs so i guess its close to that 10 lbs maaaaaaaay be a lil too much hahaha ill take a 7.5 ;D

haha rough estimates on length and girth. see what the guy can do. where i fish catching a larger one would be as impossible as it could get then again.... ;D

Well if you guys didnt see i just started on the forum. been listening and learning from all of you. Caught a PB the other day well 3 weeks ago on a nice texas rig. Fishing the same pond 3 hundred yards down today i was catching tons of smaller bass. Then i go and hook my superfluke in a tree. it was dangling the lure right on the waters surface so i let it fall thinking what the hell and the water erupted!!!! i saw a huge tail and i was wetting my pants. It was right in thick weeds and i only had 6lb test line, caught 15 smaller lb fish before and didnt redue my knots . i started walking through brush got all sorts of prickers in my crotch and face but ended up pulling in this Pig. dont know how much she weighed but i got her back in as soon as possible! Might have to get a replica done. heres two pictures of her with different light and angles

Ive never caught a bass over 4 lbs. this one must of been over that i was thinking close to 7. didnt have a scale or a measuring device. what yall think she weighs. caught em on a texas rigged worm no weight. friggin awesome i was pumped.!!!!! ;D
