  1. I'm looking at the Core 7:1 for my flipping stick and aChronarch CH100D7 for my frog rod. How's that Core working out for you?
  2. I second the Shimano Calcutta 200TE GT.
  3. The best revenge is success and living well. You're better off without him and deep down you know it. But it's like any relationship professional or personal when there's no closure you kinda feel cheated outta your say. All I can say is hope you find a better partner and you smoke him in the next tournaments.

  10. What rod model would you recommend for this lure. I have a trip to Lake Texoma in a couple of weeks and I'm gonna take a couple of these to use on the stripers and largemouths. I need suggestions in the rod department.
  11. I'm too busy fishing to drink water or eat sometime much less have time to worry if my beer is cold. So I don't drink when I'm fishing. Too many other things on my mind. Drinking just gets in the way for me.

  16. They aren't a major factor in picking gear but when competing products are evenly matched in all other characteristics, looks can be the deciding factor.
  17. Get the gt model if the money really isn't a problem. You will love it. I have a 200 TE GT and 2 200 TE and absolutely love them and you'll never be caught up in the what if upgrade cycle. I have a regular 200, had I known I was going to like the GT so much I probably wouldn't have bought it. I would have just saved up and waited and made the GT my first purchase.
  18. Storm Wild-eye Shad and assorted swim-baits. Guaranteed to pull left or right and never straight.
  19. My buddy has a pond on his property out by Piedmont. I'm probably the only person that's fished it in about 3 years for bass.
  20. My new favorite is the DT-4 a buddy and I caught and released about 55 fish today over a 4 hour period on a Bluegill, Baby Bass and Shad colored baits.
  21. Took my buddy fishing today for our first outing of 2009 and had a blast. Weather was forecast to 70 for a high. It was 40 when we got to the pond at 7:45 and I almost quit because of numb fingers. Our original plan was to drag jigs and see what we could catch. After about of an hour of no luck I tied on a DT-4 in a bluegill color and caught a bluegill on the first cast. In the next 10 minutes I caught a a bluegill, 2 crappie and a bass on my crankbait. Needless to say my buddy borrowed a crankbait and we fished until 11:30. We caught and relelased about 55 fish before we had to leave. I never knew how much I had missed fishing because of winter till today. It was a great day.
