  1. Lots of class acts-- but Denny Brauer is a smart *&% !!!
  2. Keep 'em coming guys. I will be glad to travel. Lake Fork is one of my favorites but can be tough at times. Where else?? 8-)
  3. I have fished many midwest lakes from north to south but am always looking for the new hottest water for both numbers so when I take the kids, and size for when I go it alone. Let me hear the good news. 8-)
  4. Hot spots have a good product. maybe they have one for your home lake. Try HotSpots.Com --Good Luck
  5. Awe -- Go on and go fishing, the interned people won't bother you and most Cops fish and won't bother people quietly fishing and being good citizens. Good Luck and let usknow how it goes.
  6. I looked at old fishing logs to find my best days on the water with the most fish were when the rain was coming in and after it started raining also. I am in my Frog Togs just waiting for bad weather and another great day on the water.
  7. It has to go both ways! You have to take time to take care of her needs to expect the same in return. This is how partnerships have to work. Being one sided will never work for long. I know this is a fishing forum but one has to decide what is most important and act accordingly. -- I am sure you will miss her.
  8. Is this the greatest angler debate or the most popular angler debate---I think the Latter!!!
  9. Of course who can go wrong with Bill Dance. His new book is a good read, very complete and informative.
  10. I have ben fishing on beautiful sunny days after a cold front and have a hard time getting strikes. What are some ideas on why this is?
  11. You can't go wrong with an Eagle and they have all the choices. The Cuda 128 is cheap and works great. Whatever you get, make sure it has water temp.
  12. Watch your Bass and it will face the sweet spot. Flip a white lizard past the bed, drag it slowly back to the sweet spot and just wiggle the rod tip gently which will make the lizard look as if it is eating the eggs. It may take some effort and repeated casts but if the Bass stays in the area he/she is catchable. Try it --it works.
  13. As Dave Fritts says, fish where the shallowest water meets the deepest water. This sounds like the fish have moved out to the first drop. Always try to find cover on structure and you should find fish.
  14. Throw a jig, fluke, or wormand retrieve S L O W L Y!!! I catch many fish while fishing with my wife, she gets hung up, after getting her bait, I will have a fish on. Remember, slower will catch you fish!!!
  15. That is an easy question to answer. If I have not used it in the past year I have a couple of young, beginning, and financially restricted anglers I give my tackle I will not use. If you do this be ready for these young folks to catch some nice fish on tackle you cast away. What a great way to help others get hooked.
  16. Hang in there mud. Keep jerkin lips and posting good info.
  17. I just bought one also and it hit 70mph. I love it and hope you will also. Congrats
  18. Why did no one mention a Stratus? I just bought a 19' -- did I make a mistake??
  19. I just bought a dual bank onboard charger at Bass Pro for $79. It works great and wish I would have had one years ago.
  20. Hey---cats need love too. Whats a little hair on the carpet? My Border Collie goes with me and a little hair is an easy price to pay.
  21. It is overkill but I use a Ford F350, 4 door, dual wheels, 4wd diesel to pull my 19' Stratus. The good news is I have not spun out on the wet boat ramps.
