How to fish Uncle Josh Porkers
I don't think that this is in any way a new technique. I know of people fishing the regualr pork rinds this way long ago, with the exception of the weedless hook.

are the 7-inch BPS stik-o's as fat as the 7-inch senkos?
I don't think they are as fat as the senko....

Baitcaster
Extremes are on sale for 60 and last years Pro Qualifiers are 70 ar BPS...The Bionic Plus seems like an ok reel but I personally wouldn't buy below the Extreme

Pflueger and BPS Micro-lite supreme
The Patriarch and the JM Sig. are very similar in appearance, but are built on completely different frames. The JM is much larger overall and is noticeably heavier than the Patriarch. The internal aspects were my basis but I know what you mean

can't go wrong with the President....I would stick to spinnig if you have never used baitcasting.- New approach on casting
That's usually what I do...but it increases my overrun % drastically- The "P" in P-Line??
I would have guessed performance- Pflueger Asaro
Seems like a good reel....less than $100 + free shipping on eBay- Pflueger and BPS Micro-lite supreme
I've never seen a BPS supreme reel and most of there reels have been switched to the widespool. IDK I do know that the Pflueger Patriarch and JM Sig. are almost identical. And with the exception of not having the UBS, the Pflueger President seems very similar to the new Pro Qualifier. Plus both Pflueger and BPS reels have a dual braking system? :-? Also, have you ever seen a Shakespeare Dimension....it's a Pflueger President without a ported spool or wooden handle. I think Daiwa makes cabelas reels- Bass Pro Shops Reels and Rods?
I have and have fished with a good number of BPS rods and reels and I Would say that from the bionic blade up is a good choice for a rod...and also the Crankin stick. For reels I would start at the extreme and go up. I have an extreme spinning rod, a tourney special BC rod, a bionic blade BC rod, a crankin stick, and a pro qualifier BC rod and they all are good rods. I have also fished with an Extreme BC rod with no complaints. As for reels I only have an old pro qualifier round reel but it was a great crankin reel before I got an Energy PT but have fished an extreme and JM sig and the both are good reels.- Help Rod + Reel $150
If it's a spinning set-up you want then I'd take a look at the Pflueger President/BPS Extreme combo from Bass Pro. I bought this combo a few years ago as my first big purchase for bass fishing and have not had any complaints. It was the President spinning reel that turned me toward Pflueger and now I own 2 Patriarchs and a Supreme. It's a great reel that will last and with it's price it's unbeatable. The Extreme rod is also a great rod to start out with. Still fish this combo regularly. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_59170_100003002_100000000_100003000_100-3-2 The BPS Pro Qualifier combo would be my second pick http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_98334_100003002_100000000_100003000_100-3-2 If it's baitcasting you want I would say either The Pro Qualifier combo http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_102398_100003001_100000000_100003000_100-3-1 or the Extreme combo.... http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_103927_100003001_100000000_100003000_100-3-1 But right now the Pro Qualifier is on sale making them the same price As for specs I would say either a 6'6''M or 7'M or MH Don't feel as if you could go wrong with any of them.- Pflueger Summit Advice
Just saw this http://cgi.ebay.com/PFLUEGER-SUMMIT-LP-RIGHT-HAND-BAITCAST-FISHING-REEL-NEW_W0QQitemZ360139046757QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item360139046757&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50- Pflueger Summit Advice
I was looking into getting one for spinnerbaits after I got my Patriarchs but ended up with a Supreme. It seems to be a good reel, has the dual braking I believe and I reel like the frame and profile. I do all of my Pflueger buying from ebay...with the exception of my President...and couldn't find a good deal at the time. What little were on there were almost full price and came by the supreme and picked it up for $65 NIB so I'm not that disappointed. If you are looking to buy one full price I would search ebay for a deal on a Patriarch either spool size...The WLP only looks wide compared to the LP which is quiet narrow and they can be had for a little less than the LP most of the time.- why do some rods have so many more eyes than others?
A 7' Powell has 11 guides- What is your favorite top water lure?
The Original Heddon Spook and a Mann's Elite Waker...if you count it....some people don't- Is any one else tired of hearing about the SEXY SHAD!!!
I was never really a big fan of the color personally...There's no arguing that it has produced very well. I do have a few baits in it but I'll take a pearl shad bomber or LC over it any day. As far as the sexy sunfish goes I took that one hook, line, and sinker. Bought four or five different baits in it the first time I saw it but I fish lakes that bluegill are the main forage and I love to fish bluegill and sunfish type baits.- Bass Pro Excel?
I have not had any bad experiences with it...well with the exception of the fact that it doesn't have the best manageability. Very strong and abrasion resistant. I use the clear blue florescent for night fishing and the 12lb is the best cheap line I have used. Very reliable and a great value for the price.- Carolina rig rods vs. flipping sticks
That's how mine is going to be used...I have a 7'6''H castaway big show with 50lb sufix braid that is going to be used this year for flipping, C-rig (if I ever really use it...want to but haven't yet), frogs, and small swimbaits- Sufix 100% Flurocarbon Line
I've never seen it in stores around here...If you are that interested in it get some, try it out, and let us know how it is.- Quantum Accurist, BPS Extreme, or Daiwa Megaforce?
I would say the extreme as well. I have heard good things about the Acurrist PTs and people who have them seem to love them. Wanted a megaforce but glad I decided against it and got my code. not very comfortable with the twitching bar...sounds good in theory but it seems that it's not great in practice. - Help Rod + Reel $150
