  1. Personally I wouldn't pay full price for one or any BPS rods but when on sale they are a great purchase...I have a 7'MH spinning rod that is great with my size 40 president. I have fished with a 7'MH BC and it was a good rod, not gonna be the best rod but good at sale price. They are a little heavy....If I were your buddy I'd look at other rods in the price range before dropping the money...on sale the Pro Qualifier is hard to beat...
  2. I wonder if they are going to close the one here in Lexington KY? Is so that just leaves dicks and 2 1/2 hrs to BPS
  3. Yozuri Snap Beans are a fun way to catch gills. Crickets are great and catch the big ones but waxworms seem to work just as well. Truthfully you can catch then on just about anything...bubble gum, saltwater taffy, zara spooks, even caught one once on a piece of tree bark
  4. Definitely take a look at the president...it is a bit heavy but the best at that price range. The Quantum Incyte is also a great reel. I have two of the 6'6'' M lightening rods and they are good rods. I fish a 7'MH BPS Extreme and it is a great rod for the price.
  5. Bomber Pearl Shad Rapala Bluegill Rootbeer Baby Bass Shad
  6. At walmart it is the regular 8 bearing code for 110 which is not bad but I would not have bought one if it were over 100....the code red retails for 99
  7. However slow it may be....I'm sure Bass Pro is slower...
  8. I like my code....it's a good little reel....not worth the 110 they are now but for around 70...sure
  9. nowhere near invisible....you are fishing with white rope instead of green...sticks out something major http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1236115839
  10. Either Axe Pheonix or Old Spice stick....as long as it is a solid...can't stand gel
  11. He had good run at the classic...think I would have been pumping some fists as well....skeet did
  12. Pflueger Patriarch...little lighter than the JM but the same interanl set-up...
  13. I really like suffix lines....Just spooled up my curado E7 with the 50lb braid and so far I like the feel of it...I'd like to try the deep crank line...and the new flouro
  14. Where in central Kentucky is this lake...The weather here in richmond is looking good but suspected rain saturday
  15. Bassmasters has published photos of birds catching bass
  16. Iaconelli, KVD, Timmy Horton, and as much as I hate to say it...Aaron Martens...he's annoying and I can't stand to hear him whine but man he can catch fish.
  17. 10lb has straightened out some jig hooks for me and I had a friend snap a heavy duty jig hook with the 17 lb
  18. I would definitely take it no matter what...if you don't like it, get rid of it... My 6'10'' MH BC rod has an almost moderate action even though it says fast....little "spongey" at the tip but a great rod...at first I thought it was a crankin rod but it's not...
  19. The burst should be a good reel, it's based on the code design and I really like my code...not the best but not the worst either.
  20. I always like to have at least one t-rig and a weightless rigged up at all times to alternate
  21. I have used these many times...can't believe I forgot them...The tube inserts are great for bigger tubes. BPS tender tubes are alittle short for them but they are great.
  22. I started with a code and it's an ok reel....I would look for a patriarch on ebay...the ubs is almost fool-proof
