Carrot Stix Plauge
I kinda got the sniffles last year...picked up a 6'10'' MH Gold on ebay for around $130...really like it...light and sensitive...but no others, even though I do check them out every time I'm in the market for a new rod...

Help! Justification Needed
I usually find justification for buying anything...granted the last few times it has been..."Hey that's a good deal on that rod, can't pass it up. Now I need a new reel can't have a rod without a reel." That's how I ended up with a Castaway Big Show Flipping Stick and Curado 200e7 and now an '08 Energy PTi-A and a Damiki Dark Angel.

STX vs. Patriarch
for my flipping stick I have a Curado 200e7...Where did that come from? ;D If I had bought a Patriarch first, it would be a patriarch. Depends on your preferences, if you fish in areas that you'll need to get the big ones out quick, think about a 7.x:1.

STX vs. Patriarch
From what I can tell the patriarch and JM are VERY similar...but I feel that the braking system form the JM is closer to the Supreme. It is my experience that casting a Patriarch is much smoother, easier, and at greater distance with less backlash than the supreme, be it a less refined system or combination of components.

Okuma C3 Spinning Rod
Are they recoil guides? if so then they are able to bend. But if I had a rod snap on me like that I wouldn't buy a second....that's why I don't have a Berkely Cherrywood

STX vs. Patriarch
I'm a big fan of the patriarch but for flipping it seems to me you could use the extra drag of a revo

best line for swimbaits ??
I don't think I would look any further...P-line CXX has to be some of the strongest line made....15lb will straighten hooks and give you a hard time when trying to break it....can't imagine 30

Braided Line
Invisible braid?...not possible...haven't produced an invisible thread yet either, still gotta sew stuff inside out. Invibraids are white rope underwater...don't care for camo lines...if you use braid, buy green and use a flouro leader

Team Diawa Combo
not gonna be the greatest of all combos but it will catch fish...My first bass combo was a Shakspeare Cirrus combo that turned into a Mitchell Advocet and Lightening rod....

Summit or Patriarch?
I don't agree with the tackle tour review with just a GOOD rating. Their only complaints were the fact that it's not a lefty, which I understand, and the fact that it was too heavy, 8.4 oz for an aluminum constructed reel, which is lighter than others they rave about and little heavier than those of plastic....uh...graphite construction. Just hold it and that idea will flee quickly

ideas on a jig and worm fishing rig?
Personally, I use a 7'H Kistler Magnesium for that application. with te larger worms and jigs, I like the extra power of a H rod

Line question
For heavy cover, keep the braid. In open water or just bank beating, go with a 12lb line. As for the color, if the water you fish has a green tint then you should be fine. Aroud here with green water, cx and cxx p-line in moss green seems to work well.

Goldfish?
I know that back home, the goldfish are used mainly in pay lakes for catfish. Don't here of them used much in the lakes, usually shad, gill, and shiners but rarely for bass...well minnows for bass but mostly catfish. You can get them at a few baitshops for 20 for $1 or so for bait...$.25 for a pet.
