I love those fishing on the edge commercials. It's a japanese technique I believe. They had a write-up about it in Bassmasters a while back and all the tacklet hey mentioned was Jackall. It's supposedly a hot technique even though have never heard of anyone fishing it. basically a wacky rigged shakey head. btw....any technique that KVD talks about is his favortie technique and/or the hottest thing going, but all he does is Crankbait, spinnerbait, jerbait, jig....repeat

If I'm not mistaken, sounds like an Energy PTS, saltwater, I think they were priced comparable to the FW Energy, around $189, maybe even a little more, $219 I think is it this one

I just bought a 7'M Damiki Dark Angel that is really light. Tons lighter than my 7'MH BPS Extreme

well, bought a used TD SOL that was unfunctioning for a price that I couldn't refuse. When I got it it worked but was rough and the spool wouldn't engage by cranking, had to manually push the thumb bar up to engage. But now? BUTTA

Good point, but the "laser" isn't really a laser, but a red LED making the actual light, the source, the visualized portion, not a spot infront of the light because the bulb has no focus....I think

I have a Quantum Incyte that is a great little reel, smooth and solid. I have the size 10 that I use for bluegill and crappie but have handled a siz 20 and it seems like a great UL reel

The reel is actually a saltwater reel, a repackaged Inshore Extreme to be exact.

Although I don't have an actual Carrot Stix cranking rod, I have switched from a 6'6'' BPS Crankin Stick to a 6'10''MH Carrot Stix Gold for all my cranking. It's very good for shallow and medium divers, have yet to throw any 12'+ however.
