E21 power and action??
I have a 6'10'' MH fast e21 Carrot Gold Stix and a 7'MH Fast St Croix Avid. The action of the e21 seems slower than the St. Croix, definitely goes into the backbone lower on the rod. I also have a 6'9''MH fast e21 Carrot Stix LTX which is much stiffer than the gold. I use the gold for shallow-medium cranks and topwater.

Kistler magnesium rods!!! opinions please !!
I have a 7'H Magnum Worm rod that is a great rod. It's very light and works great with my pflueger patriarch. Haven't had much of a chance to test it's sensitivity but as soon as the 10'' worm bite is on here in KY I will give her a go

Just Got My Carrot Stix. And I Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it ok for contact baits but it makes a helluva crankbait rod. The action, I feel, is a little more mod-fast than fast.

Flipping mono or braid
Why use 25lb braid when you can use 50-60#...It's all about getting the strongest line with the smallest diameter...If you could fish with 50lb mono....I'm sure plenty of people would

Mann's Jelly worms are fruit scented according to they're color- World record bass a phony.....
As far as I am concerned, the world record bass died last year and she will not be beat for some time to come.- Snakehead Fish....
They've been around for awhile now and apart from the initial scare of the them taking over, I haven't heard much else. Hear they give a helluva fight though.- Need some opinions on a new Bait cast rod
I know it's a little out of the price range but I picked up a 6'9''MH Carrot Stix LTX and Bass Pro yesterday and am blown away. I already had a 6'10''MH 21 Carrot Gold Stix but was a little disappointed at the flimsiness of the rod but the LTX is another story. Extremely light and plenty of backbone for plastics and jigs, right length for top water, for me, and just enough give in the tip with the fast action for spinnerbaits. IMO a great all-around rod. I would also say a 6'6''M BPS Pro Qualifier, that's what I use as an everything from the bank rod; plastics, jigs, cranks, spinners, topwater, even jerkbaits occasionally.- Spincast For Bass?
Even though they might be an outdated design, there is nothing that says you can't bass fish with a spincast reel. I personally think that a Zebco 33 or Omega would be a great choice for small jigs or mini cranks and minnow baits like snap beans or crappie jigs, which I have found catch monster bass, even though a spinning reel may be the first choice- Which reels do you own?
It happens quick, last year I had 2 spinning combos and 2 baitcasters, one of which was for cranks- Which reels do you own?
Lets see...4 spinning outfits, one of which is for crappie, and 11 baitcasters, 12 when I get my Curado E5.- Guitarists....
Hey....you cant be afraid to dance- Cork or Foam Grips
Last year I would have said cork no doubt but now I'm not so sure. I own mostly cork but I do like the foam on my Damiki Dark Angel and Carrot Stix LTX.- Just Got My Carrot Stix. And I Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just came home from BPS with a second Carrot Stix. I have a 6'10''MH Gold paired with a Daiwa Sol for cranks, a bit limber for plastics for my tastes, and now have a 6'9''MH LTX with a Pflueger Patriarch 64LP.- Diawa Megaforce
I wanted one when they first came out, after getting my hands on it I wasn't greatly impressed with it. I have smaller hands and had to reposition to use the twitchin bar. I personally felt it was kinda clunky as well.- Ever have one of those days???
That was one of my first thoughts...after - Oh the sweet smell!!!
