  1. Run those baits into a tree beside an RC and see which one hangs up first...I have many and they have their place but I have recenlty found myself throwing a Thin N over any other bait
  2. Actually you just need a lighter....and even though I've never used the powder coat paints, they go on lead quiet well
  3. Me too...I need some tungsten weights and who better to buy from....I never painted my lead so why do I need painted tungsten.
  4. I guess no matter what species...everything a man does is wrong if it's not her way :
  5. I would say some Yo-Zuri snapbeans
  6. There's the problem....I think gulp repels largemouths Powerworms are great but I hate the color choices...
  7. Purple Perch Pearl Shad
  8. The Reaction Innovations Fathead juniors were on sale at dicks for 2.99 for either 4 or 5.
  9. I don't have one but have fished with one on an SX and they are very nice and a good upgrade for $10
  10. The zero's are probably one of best stick baits. They have incredible action and are very durable, they will float before they tear most of the time. Just don't use any dipping oils or scents and keep them cool and out of contact with other baits. also don't place used ones with new ones when wet....melt down. The problem is once they are wet they have to be used because the either melt or shrivel.
  11. Of the three, I would say the revo... I have an Asaro and it's ok but I feel the revo would hold up a little better, like muddy said, it's probably not gonna be around long. I would also suggest the President for that price. if you've got a little extra, take a look at the Quantum Catalyst as well.
  12. I have found success with the shakey head. You really need to try it, I like using straight tail Roboworms.
  13. All the suggestions are great but would like to add the Cabelas Chuck-it frogs . They are very comparable to the Spro and half the price http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0053846122734a&navCount=2&podId=0053846&parentId=cat601233&masterpathid=&navAction=push&cmCat=MainCatcat20166-cat601233_TGP&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601233&hasJS=true
  14. I wish there was somewhere, other than eBay, to buy them online. The closest Academy is in TN over 4 hrs away
  15. Lucky Craft RC 1.5 very well worth the price tag Strike king Series 1 and 1XS Mann's Baby 1 minus, C-4 Elite Big O Rick Clunn Orion crank baits are really nice too
  16. I too use my code with a Pro Qualifier...works very well together doesn't it. One of my favorite combos.
  17. Well she already says that I don't need more than one rod and reel, that's why I have 10.... Let's see, probably would go custom for the rod and as for the reel, it would be a toss up between a zillion and a core
  18. I ordered one because the matched my Asaro I have extra and also have unused braid so I figured it would be a good bank rod for worms and such, plus I needed extra for free shipping. But after around a month on backorder, I think I'm gonna cancel the order and just stick it on a carrot stix for tubes.
  19. I've got a 7'H Magnesium and really like it. They are sensitive rods and extremely light. My only complaint is the Hardloy guides, would prefer Alconite but oh well.
  20. You may hear different, but I love my Code. The Code was my first venture into LP baitcasters and have had a rather good experience. It takes a bit to get used to but once you set your ACS II and spool tension correctly to match your casting abilities, you can cast very well and far with it. I'm not a big fan of the ACS II system, much rather have the infinite ACS but that's my only real complaint with it. Well worth the $79 I paid for mine, and the rod feels descent too. Have handled the combo's myself and they feel pretty good. Can't comment on the rod but it does look nice. Overall I would say that if the rod is descent, it would be a good purchase. Go for it.
  21. 1/0 baitholder or octopus hook and a hunk of chicken liver. cast, let sink with spool engaged, don't engage spool until line begins to scream off of it.
  22. definitely wouldn't hurt...
