  1. Burley, I got your back on this one. I get this multiple times a day in what I do. I get asked technical questions and so I tell the answer. Then they tell me I'm wrong. Then why ask if you already know? When this happens it infuriates me. It is a complete waste of my time when i could be helping someone who needs help and wants help. no it isn't.... ;D Seriously though, I've often wondered how people in those kind of jobs do it. The worst would be customer service for a cell company or customer support for a computer company.
  2. Well put Dom. Nothing good is going to come from this, I think Burley just needed to vent as we all do from time to time and with some of the firearms he owns,....it's better he do it here! moving on....
  3. With the safe feature on...LBH owns the entire first page on google of nothing but where he posts. no,no, do it without the spaces,...all one word, lowbudgethookers (it lets you see into the future )
  4. PM the neighborhood to Tin, he loads those trucks. He can keep an eye out and make sure it gets loaded in a saf-er place.
  5. Should I ship Big Red to Fluke for ya? ;D
  6. I'm not gonna ask then,..how your forearms got so big.... : ;D
  7. C'mon man, you can all out a poser and stay well within the rules,....can anyone say,...BRAUGHER? Maybe you should find yourself another forum. I didn't want to say it,....I wouldn't want it taken the wrong way, I think Burley adds to the forum, but it sounds like he is saying it himself. Burley? Que Pasa 'ese?
  8. What can I tell ya man? Not sure what you're looking for here, should we all just stop putting up threads seeing as how they annoy you? : :) Bring me a solution along with your problem and we can start a dialogue. If this is nothing other than a letter to the complaint dept,well,....that kinda lands this thread under the category of threads you evidently hate. Think about it, what is more useless, a thread only a few can learn from or a thread with a complaint and no solution offered?
  9. My pleasure.
  10. You have track # ready. Call 800 # and explain. If refund applies, they will inform you that "Kistler" has been credited "X" amount and (I think) give you a reference #) Then you call Kistler and explain and they are being refunded by UPS and to please also refund you, in turn. (use reference # if needed here) Not to confuse you, it simply means....... UPS refunds Kistler and then Kistler refunds you. This won't be much of an issue, Trey (Kistler) has a great rep for this stuff. Good luck, if you get stuck, you know where to find me.
  11. Brown and curley. I haven't had a haircut since before my 1st visit to RedlineRobert. That was.......August? lol It's been yrs since I let the curls grow, I'm getting VERY good feedback so it'll get as long and unruly as UPS will allow.
  12. Tricky stuff, excellent news that all went well. Heal up soon buddy!
  13. If the original del date was the 3rd, and then it got bumped to the 6th, then that pkg was missed in a sort somewhere and got put on the wroong outbound trailer. It happens. NOW,.... Look at the day you ordered it. Look at your new delivery date. Is the space in between more than 7 business days? If so, call the 800 number (1800pickups) and request a refund. The "ground" pkgs now have a guarantee (beat THAT fedex,...) It has a 5-7 day guarantee. What will happen is they credit the place with the UPS acct that did the shipping and then they credit you back the $$ you paid for shipping. This is one you have to "stay on" to collect because the refund has to go through these steps. If you need help, just let me know.
  14. Exactly. Nonody MAKES you read the stuff. You may feel something is useless to you,...might not be the case for everyone reading. May I suggest a rather complicated yet 100% successful way to conquer this thing that bothers you so..... Skip those threads :
  15. I get the picture but would rather have the bottle, lmao Thanks for the education Bizz
  16. Exactly. I've had the epitome of a bad guide experience. We never left the dock (thank God). Not only did he not see a dime, never mind a tip, he's lucky he got out of there uninjured. This is the odd case though. Most guides are going to go out of their way to take care of business. A good reference would be to PM some of the top guides that are members and ask them their opinion. i.e. George Welcome-Stick Marsh Tom Redington-Fork
  17. Don't fret, just look at the estimated del date. As long as that says "on time", then you're safe. You'd be surprised at where your package goes to get where it's doing. Example-many pkgs going from RI to Delaware, go to Illinois first. Sounds crazy but it's all part of a huge sort. Pkgs get routed to hubs or super hubs that have outgoing sorts to the destination area. These don't always make sense on paper but in the big picture, considering there are things going to that state from all over the world, "centralizing" that volume is key. This results in some whacky seeming "to/from" routing.
  18. Definitely tip but as for the amount, that's up to you, and up to him/her. If everything goes "status quo", 20%,...if the guide goes above and beyond like having great patience with your g/f , or really sets you straight with a pattern you've been trying to learn, or puts you on the fish of your life etc,...you adjust accordingly.
  19. Wow, talk about a mix of stuff, lol from Cast for kids---------> to an "affordable" date,.....talk about being diverse, lol. Hey everyone, do mine without the spaces,....look at the first hit,....SWEET!!!
  20. Someone fill me in, I'm confused. It sounds like a drug you drink but I know Robert better than that. Then again,....he said he's never done any illegal drug ever. Did they come out with one that's Tequila flavored or something?? ;D
  21. awesome. Bringing a partner already is hardly something to apologize for! lol we'll keep the 12 jon in mind but are you sure you don't want to use it? The bookies have tin2win 4 to 1! ;D If we need it, we'll get a truck up there the night before Great offer, thanks. Yea, and this is a great one to burn the rust off your joints in preparation for the season to come. The "cause" is always forefront in the mind and it's a bit more relaxed than a typical tournament. I even think of it more as the season re-opener. I get to see all the great guys I've met so far and all the old friends who also pop up to support new local folks i got to meet here over the winter. Friends from afar who come to support, etc, it makes it more of a "gathering of the gang" and that makes me see it as more of a party.,lol..... I'm even thinking of rafting up with Matt5.0 and tin and breaking out the propane grill. We can cook some burgers AND warm the hands, lol. Alan, you bring the tater salad and chips,...who's got the soda??
  22. Paul, we are placing "out of staters" on boats, so they don't have to drag theirs all this way. I think we are set right now but if we get another, would you have an extra seat? Just in case?
