  1. 1000 posts matty, NICE! PM sent Bassectomy
  2. PH-I actually do sleep alot, I'm in bed early like an old fart, but I'm a super natural early riser like a fisherman You make a good point just the same but that's another blessing I have is a good "clock". As for the suggestions of diet, training, etc, done it, did it, ate it, etc. I reserved my self, after seeing all these popeye posts,(Bassin@ddict- very funny), to saying screw it,...I ams who I ams So what's for dinner?
  3. I NEVER run mine out of the water,....NEVER!!!!! in fact, I don't even hook the clips up to the battery till I get to the lake ;D
  4. $150 geesh..... That's like tying a revo SX to your line. Probably would catch more fish though seein' as how it has hooks and what not. I bet LBH does not have one of those. Nope. If a lure is over $10, it becomes "art" lol. I actually have a similar bait, made by one of Micky's personal helpers, on it's way as we speak, lol. It is a reject that he is custom lettering for me with the "LowBudgetHookers Fishing Team" logo on the side and will be proudly displayed here at the clubhouse I wasn't kidding,.....ART. It will also be used as an image on the LBH website (I'll post all about my latestt art acquisition when it gets here )
  5. Well, my weight has come up yet again, on the "who's going to the classic" thread, lol A little story. When I first started at UPS, I was loading trucks from 4-8a. Coming off a skiing career, I was in good shape. This job kept that going. Well, my supervisor, a gitl named Rachel that I was very close with, came to me with a request. She wanted to join a gym and the one she was looking at had a 2 for 1 deal going on. Seeing as how we hang out together after work anyway, I figured what the heck. So I went down to GNC and figured I would buy some weight gain stuff. I get ripped when I work out, rather quickly, but never seem to be able to build any bulk. So I investigate all the different brands, and costs and decide to go wth the most expensive one. It was $50 and was a 2 week supply. I was double dosing on the stuff so I figured it would be an experiment for the month. $200 worth of weight gain, about an EXTRA 100,000 calories/day and we'll see where we stand by the end of the month. I lost a pound. It's just my metabolism (which I'm not complaining about at age 40). Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you I eat more than the avg person. I love to cook. With that comes the love to eat. I can put it away, believe me. I'm always surprising people with how much I actually do eat. There are very few who can keep up with me at a clam boil. So for all the "EAT SOMETHING" comments,....trust me,...I do. God built me for speed, not comfort and who am I to complain.
  6. The Kelley Jordan one on Fork in the fall has got me good. Looking to make it there in October.
  7. Yes- I think this one has run it's course folks.....We will end with George's poignant note
  8. Salmonella, semolina,....tomAto,...toMAto ;D
  9. LMAO...I hear he has a bunch of spare props from the classic too!! Seeing as how you're gonna be in Flukes backyard, have you spoken to him? He's got a big posse too. She's not giving up the club thing is she? That would be a drag if you didn't have her in the boat to carry you ;D CATCH 'EM UP KERI!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!
  10. but like me, considering there is no other heating bill, that's not bad.
  11. Mike, you'll only need to bring 1/2 the bread, 1/2 of those meatballs won't make it past Delaware ;D
  12. Mine is off 3rd floor, small place, 1 heater gets it done. Electric goes up about $30/month which replaces a $200/mo oil bill :)
  13. You do? You do?? ;D I think you don't, you don't.
  14. Exactly. I fish all electric and drive from the stern. I am always either putting my guest nose first into the good stuff or setting up so we both have equal access. I don't tend to see any pattern of one end doing better or worse than the other, but again, we are attacking as a team often with complimenting baits, methods and presentations.
  15. Burley is right gentlemen. Although we are as red blooded as you, we have a mission statement to stick to. Pics have been removed.
  16. Stay cool frog,... you are setting an example for alot of people. You all are very inspiring. I have been giving quitting a thought and may call on this support myself one day. Frog,...you'll be able to say,.."remember when...." Stay tough, I'm rooting for you. Give me hope!
  17. stay strong Frog!
  18. I think most people, when thinking of a 9, envision their rods, battery, lunch and tackle at the bottom of the lake. Nice of you to post this heads up though For $100, you're on the water and off the bank.
  19. The snake lures. Redline gave me a box on my first visit.
  20. Saturday is better for me. Dirk can come Saturday too. Kozak- That is the way they open every store, they have been re-stocked.
  21. So, a tentative Sunday at noon for lunch?
  22. GO CONN!! Hopefully some of your outdoors programs spill over the border. You guys are miles ahead in many categories.
