check this map out where would you guys start?
If this is NJ, I wouldn't bother with the shallows this time of yr. First find rock. Rock and current and you're even better. Personally, I would start up at the steep bank at 11:00 and work north probing each of those shelves. Patterning fish in a certain zone like that at this time of year can have you there for hours if you find the depth they are holding at. If you do, work that shelf North and South for all it's worth. Spend extra time on the highlighted rockpiles.

I did it and so can you! A few basic tools are needed and anyone can make these. 1. Pull up a solid black/white pic on puter in the size you will want it on the pumpkin. Tape paper to screen and trace with pencil. 2. Tape paper to pumpkin and with a finish nail, trace the lines by poking the pumpkin with the nail about every 1/4 inch or tighter/wider as necessary. 3. Remove paper and start carving the lines with exacto tool. Clear out remaining skin in areas to be removed. 4. Cut top of pumpkin and empty contents. Use large spoon to clean walls and thin out the wall where the picture is. Look inside the pumpkin and aim the side with carving on it towards light source. You can see where it is uneven. 5. Place a few candles or a flashlight inside and with a regular spoon, now you clean all the large areas with gentle scraping till it is as even as you can get it. There are a lot of steps but it's a lot of fun and all the steps are actually quite easy. Once you do your first one, you'll want to do more. Keep pic simple for 1st one. exacto tool- I have a small kit, 16 pc I think. It's the handle and a bunch of blades. These are the 2 needed for doing pumpkins. The smaller one does the detail work and the larger one clears the rest.

Catch and release, being overdone??????
So get involved Mike. With the connections in the fishing industry and the D.E.M that your family has, you're a natural candidate. Look into the conservation position in one of your clubs. You never know, they may want to see results first so tell them we'll work a slot limit at the main lake at the hatchery for 3 yrs and then we can shock it again and see the difference Seriously, All in one family, the Jr Director with 2 out of 3 kids who have gone to the world championships,....you being one of them,....you qualify Get involved.

OK, so I thought I was cool being able to hypnotize the bigger bass in my lake,...I do the "finger whammy" over the water and they come up, 1 at a time, mouth open,.......yea, pretty cool,....but now I can also get the Jitterbug to roll over and play dead at the same time!! Check it out!!!!

I can't believe Yamamoto hasn't come out with a $50 tool to get those split rings on their baits seeing as they are basically the only ones you need them on. Personally, I'll stick with the ones that don't need "tools and accessories". I think the BaitMonkey worked on this one with Gary,...the 2 were in cohoots ;D- backreeling?
Reading along here, I think I figured out mt problem (or according to FC, my saving grace)............................ I JUST LOVE THE SOUND OF A SCREAMING REEL!!! (Especially a Penn130 2-speed with a Bluefin on,lol,...when that thing sings, the hair on the back of your next stands up,....it's like a fire alarm went off!)- one man watercraft
No need to worry about punctures, the leaks that develope along the seam will let plenty of water into the hull. You won't notice it till it's time to pull it out, lol. A crawdad is Colemans version of a jon boat but plastic. Pelican also makes one.- casting-*VIDEO added*
