Similar to Catt's, this is a New England version of a Portuguese dish called "Clams Anjana" (pork,clams,potato) 4 center cut pork chops, trimmed and cubed 1 package GASPAR'S Linguica (sliced) slices should look like a quarter. Then give them a quick rough chop. 20 hardshell clams 4-6 red potato's cut into 1x1-ish chunks. Some bigger (I 3/4 cook these in the nuker, covered in saran wrap,in a bowl. 1 can white (cannellini) beans (drained) 1 onion 1 bulb Garlic (not clove, bulb). Cleaned and SLIVERED thin good handful of chopped fresh parsley (flat, NOT curly) 1 cup white cooking wine 2 bay leaves 1/4 teaspoon of cumin 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper smidgeon ground red pepper Marinate pork, cumin, wine,garlic, salt,pepper(black) for 1-3 hrs with a bit of oil in a frying pan, slice the onion into rings and cook till translucent. Remove to large bowl Remove nuked potato's, cut and add to bowl with onions. in same fry pan, add a bit of butter to the onion oil and quickly cook the cubes of pork, removed from the marinade. A high heat searing is the desire here. When pork is done, put in a deep dish frying pan, add all other incredients, add linguica last so it is on top and oils drain down. Also add leftover marinade. Cover and simmer for appx 10 mins or till all clams are open Serve with a hard crust bread and butter Makes roughly 4 servings or 1 big one and 2 nice leftover bowls, for you single guys **I've made Muddy_Mans meatball recipe from lake Fork and they came out "ok" but round 2 will be better, it's a learning thing. MORE raisins will be in the next batch, I hardly noticed them this time. They certainly weren't the same as the ones we had in good 'ol Texas.

VHS tape would need to be converted. Not expensive but a pain in the butt. Some guys use digital cam corders but I just use my digital camera on the "video" setting. Either of the digital options, you simply plug in and the wizard walks you right through it. Very easy.

You will have to use a flash for night time photos......unless you have a light source somewhere else. If you want to get artistic with it (and who doesn't you can turn the flash off and stand facing a lower intensity light source. This will require opening your aperture to a very large setting and really slowing down shutter speed (many times to several seconds). And remember to stand PERFECTLY still during the shot. I've never taken any night shots of fish using this technique, but in general photography. Here's one I took over the winter - - - you can see the effect..... As far as depth-of-field.....a good point-shoot will handle it fine, but a DSLR should handle it with ease, as it is largely a product of proper aperture setting combined with shutter speed. Smaller aperture + longer shutter speed = greater depth of field. The problem with this is the motion. Great pic of the tree, but it's a tree and is still. No matter how steady you are, you will be in a moving boat. (rocking, floating,etc) Very tough to not blur that shot. I don't think my camera is capable (fuji s5600)

KU, you have to name her now. We have a 7lbr (last time she was caught anyway) that has some distinctive markings like that tail. We have caught her maybe 5 times since she was just a 4 lbr. We didn't see her last year, hopefully she's still around. Her name is "Dorothy" So,..What's her name?

I agree. I'm not judging, we all created our world. I personally do not support sports too much. I don't own any team jerseys,don't go to games, don't watch them on tv. I'll go out and play just about anything but watching just isn't for me. This doesn't mean that the $$ I spend frivolously elswhere couldn't be going towards fixing the problem. We are all guilty in 1 way or another and it is our kids that are suffering. Screwy priorities.

Ditto. I never was "hit" but a few times I thought I was going to be (probably should have been) and when I was dismissed from the verbal lashing, I would think I got away with it. Turn to walk away and here came the foot. It was like a first step assist,lol. That first step, walking away, would always find me a bit more "elevated" than the next step,lol. But as KU said, I wouldn't of had it any other way.

Speaking with my sister last night. She's a teacher on Cape Cod and we were comparing financial woes. I just can't accept a quarterback making 10 million a yr to play a game while my sister has to struggle to find the mortgage payment. It's a sad set of priorities we have here in America when the ones helping raise our kids can't make the rent but someone who can throw a ball 94 mph with consistency is entitled to millions. Where the heck do you live??? It's APRIL!! ;D I fully agree with you. Right now, just get it in front of them, whatever "it" is. Yesterday we caught on flukes/jigs/brush hogs and a swimmin' image. All in the same shallow cove that the bass migrate to for the early spring feed.
