  1. Strictly catch & release here.
  2. We have mooring boats here that use dual outboards also. Even those aren't fully neccessary. Tug operations would definately go deisel. Even the rescue vessels that Seatow uses (zodiac style) have big deisels and they canmove.
  3. I think in the show they said they bought a 9 acre resort and another 3 acre satellite lot for a guest house.
  4. I'm guessing it's stern heavy. Don't want fuel up in the bow. Look how it sits at rest.
  5. Randall finally got into building saltwater boats??,.... ;D (you can't see them but there are 2 more on the front but they are only 200's) ;D There are much more efficient ways to go fast (inboards) or have alot of pulling power (Deisels). Kinda retarded, what is the duty class of this boat? What is it made for?
  6. Bad choice of words. Their "new" "second" home lake, lol. Lots of pro's have been buying and building on Amistad, including Byron and Mary.
  7. OMG, are you kidding me? Pull that crap on the bay here and they'll beat you before they write the ticket and take the boat!! Rude Disrespectful to those anglers BIGTIME UNSAFE!!! Almost looks like horseplay, like he's playing chicken with a parked car. Wow, I'm let down but not surprised. He made it sound like he was plenty far from the other boats,...NOT!!! I wouldn't go that close to someone fishing with my trolling motor, never mind a 21' boat wide open. Irresponsible!! I retract my previous comments. Preach- download that player and you'll be fine.
  8. I havn't seen it,...link LINK LINK!!
  9. He just stepped up and apologized at weigh in It's all good, bad judgement call on his part. People make mistakes.
  10. Does anyone have a link for standings or live streaming?
  11. How he reacts will determine how many people will view him. This could get juicy.
  12. AWESOME NEWS MIKE!!! (not for Ben,lol) Call me when you're free
  13. That's another nice feature with the trigger. Even Dad drives it,lol
  14. wheel turned all the way to the left (same radius as a jet ski w/ handlebars) all the way to the right
  15. Agreed. I thought I was going to be turning on a live broadcast. duh,lol So, answer me this,....the stuff that's on at 10pm tonight, will it be a repeat of what is on now or new stuff.
  16. And then there's KVD, the machine, how could I forget KVD,lol. (and such good taste in ice fishing clothes, )
  17. Exactly. He sees the bigger picture, he gets to live a dream. He's happy ALL THE TIME and although I can totally see how this could rub some folks wrong, HE SHOULD BE HAPPY ALL THE TIME!!! If he lived the dream and took it for granted or was a smug punk pretty boy, well then we would have a better reason but otherwise, I'll be the first to admit,...that's one ride I would enjoy too!
  18. I see a great future for these 2 should they be able to beat the odds and stay together. They appeal to a wide range. Both great looking, both very capable anglers. Very personable, I've never heard Byron talk junk or spew at someone when it wasn't all in good fun. Now, they are reporters at the classic, another nice touch having Mary reporting too. I saw a show they did together on Amistad, their home lake. Very entertaining and somewhat informative. Played a little like a travel ad for Amistad but now I wanna go there so,..it worked! lol I can just see these 2 fitting alot of places in the sport. With the women coming into their own, Mary could stand to be a leader in their class for promoting the sport depending on how she carves her future. The whole "Bachelor" story of how they met doesn't hurt the Bio either. I like them, I guess that's all I'm saying. They represent well.
  19. Hackney definately has a chance IMO,...it's gonna be a jig bite. (the amazing Kreskin told me so,lol) Water finally warming up from last weeks shut down, beautiful day forcasted, perfect conditions for good brawl......GAME ON!!! Personally I would like to see Aaron martens get what he's got coming to him,....GO SPIN!! (I'd LOVE to see this thing won on spinning gear, hehe) Ike always promises to be entertaining. Not a bif Swindle fan but he knows the place inside and out. Should be a good one.
  20. If you all will notice, there is a new sticky here in "everything else". Too many of our family have been turned off to the site because of political/religious posts. This is a fishing forum and that should always be the priority. These last few posts were merely the final straws. Glenn asked our opinions as a staff and we agreed unanimously. No more political/religious threads. They are not worth the loss of valued members.
  21. 90% chance it's a size issue. Resize it to be 450x450 or so and then try. If it still doesn't work, email it to me and I'll put it in for you. Also check and make sure. The link usually has an "http://" in front of it. The avatar browser box also sticks one in automatically so one of them has to be edited out.
  22. That's going to depend on wind/rainfall the week before we get there. Still too early to predict. At this time last year, the lake was setting up perfectly for us and 1 week before we left, they got like 3" of rain with 35 mph winds. Temps dropped 25 degrees. EVERYTHING was choc milk and cold. Keep your fingers crossed!
  23. That's a simple one. ABSOLUTELY. I've driven 2 boats with the hot foot pedal, nothing better than having both hands on the wheel. This product was the driving force behind me moving the throttle on my jet boat to the wheel. It now has a trigger throttle on the steering wheel so I can keep both hands on the helm. Great product IMO
