  1. WE'LL BE THERE IN 75 DAYS!!!!
  2. 5 and 6 for me. The four catches a ton but of the smaller class generally. the 7 and 10 don't produce as well for me but if I had more patience, I would probably prove myself very wrong.
  3. I resent that, I'm NOT an amateur.
  4. lol, these places are so "not me". I lived less than 1.5 miles from the stateline in S. Lake Tahoe. I used the casinos for the $6 buffets and the clubs, that's about it. With my obsessive/compulsive nature, 2 things I'm glad I never got into were drinking and gambling, let alone the 2 in combination, lol. Still plenty to do, if fun doesn't find me, I make my own. Thanks for the info guys!!
  5. I just like saying "Pom-pa-no" : :)
  6. Not sure, they are making all my reservations this week and I will have my itinerary by the weekend.
  7. READ THIS IGFA is the main sanctioning body for international record certification. Located in Pompano Beach, Fla.
  8. So it would stand to reason that the red weights should be for general use. Clear to lighten up even more i.e. finesse fishing, light jigs, etc and green for big stuff like s-baits, bucktails and 1 oz spinnerbait type stuff? Husker- Congrats on your new edition, enjoy!
  9. Yes, Quick trip to Reno when I lived in Tahoe was the closest I got. Certainly not a gambler with my money. Just women. North Face needs to know what I need for '07 clothing and I need collared stuff for events like this one but didn't know if I should get a few collared pieces in long sleeve too. I think I will. Thanks.
  10. Anyone know what the weather is in Vegas for Feb? Going to the CAST convention and was wondering what kind of clothes I'll need.

  12. Duh,...some people,....geez A toaster is the guy that stands up. raises his glass and says some stuff he 1/2 means. (especially if he's at a wedding, lol)
  13. There is a gallery, not sure where, that has adopted the idea of blending cell phones with art exhibits. While you are viewing the art in the gallery, every piece has a cell #. Call the number and you'll get the actual artist talking about his/her work on the piece you are viewing. Pretty cool.
  14. "like wrestling I do" Yoda? Vyron,...I used to have such respect for you......lol ;D
  15. well, the company Sc johnson was changed from Johnson &Johnson in '83 when a former employee............. ............which brings us back to the original company based iin Springfield, Ohio,.................. 17. When Art Pasley from CAST was up here this summer, I took him to my lake for a few hours. He borrowed a rod but brought his own "TOP secret weapon". Busted my chops about it all the way to the lake. When we got there and he pulled them out I was like "Awww, cmon man,....OLD news, lol" He was amazed someone else knew his secret. FYI- He's in the hall of fame, lol, great minds......
  18. Oh well Craig,....better luck next year!! LOL Awesome season for you guys, some nice piggy bass there. My fav is the hitchhiker on the trailer rim.
  19. Excellent writing and I think I even learned somthing. To catcha fish of this caliber, I need a. one 6" senko b. more cigarettes c. A shimano that won't turn a running fish (doh, kidding) d. A bathing suit Get a pic? (Not of the fish but of you soaking wet with the cig still lit hanging from lip) Another excellent read RW! Thanks!

  21. well, we ask your last name so we can type it in under the chicken scratch Just for the record, DHL is about 10 times the size of UPS. They are #1 worldwide. Americans don't realize this because we only see the guys that drive like maniacs , dressed like Ronald McDonald, in old beat up, yellow vans. That's only America. They OWN the rest of the world. In europe, they are all you see. Don't get me wrong, we deliver to every address on Earth, literally, but they are much larger.
  22. The beauty is WHEN he nails that puppy, we can all refer back here and NOONE can say it was luck or a mistake. Visual-RW standing proud.....Chest out, widened stance, finger pointed towards center field wall with other hand holding Gloomis/shimano combo. Bronze cape trailing in the wind.
  23. That's why there's no blues club,....the cows ARE home! Almost forgot, leave it to matt_fly to harp in every now and again to chirp out the SL tally and where the latest was caught and all the info associated, lol. By the time we leave he will have you so dead sure that the next one is coming from YOUR livewell, lmao.
  24. As far as "caliber" of people, the long term ,part-time trial you go through to be a driver can build that charachter in folks who otherwise may have never known it. Packages DO get assaulted sometimes. It's the nature of the beast whether it's UPS, fedex or USPS. Packages go through hubs on all kinds of conveyor sysytems. SOMETIMES, they jam. Tha packages back up and one or 2 turn into accordians, lol. But deliver it to someone and they assume that YOU personally were in the back of the truck pile driving the thing. If I have one like that, I won't leave it at your house, I'll wait till I catch you at home and let you open it and inspect it so you have the opportunity to refuse it. Not part of our methods, just somthing many of us do for the customer,on the hush of course. Often, I know where you work also and can opt to bring it there if it's also on my route or nearby.
