  1. Awesome ad,lol. Forwarded it to some of my buddies.
  2. Well done Plastik!!
  3. Sure, chuck away. You catch on spinnerbaits in lakes that don't have schools of spinnerbaits right? I like the male bluegill.
  4. I love it too as much as I'll ever love any spinnerbait for that matter, the thing I love about the ledgebuster is how sloooooow you can rooooooll.
  5. I've tried thru the tail, the horn , free-line and on a float but never w/ a split shot. I always figured it was a slap on the hand from the gods for trying to cheat with live bait, lol. Maybe my first craw bass will come from Lake Fork, that would be special.
  6. No,no,no. Dirk was over here when he was on the board and I know he didn't want to sound that way. He was just explaining for me because I have been asked "Why do you only use spinning gear" about 20 times! lol. He certainly didn't mean to sound confrontive, just informative.
  7. If anyone wants close ups of any other areas (Birch, the Caney's,etc) let me know and I'll click away. Map is huge so I can get even closer than above if you'd like.
  8. Thought these might help. 2 sizes for each pic for clarity and widened view.
  9. Ditto. I need a lesson with the crawdads, RW? I've only tried them 6 or 7 times when we move the boat in the morning and they had been camping out under it, easy to grab. They bury directly in the drilla on my lake so I tried them with a float also and just killed it. LESSON PLEASE!
  10. Do you buy her dinner first? Not "poke",.."Pok" silly. RRogue- anyone who has met more than 1 southerner should know that. As a matter of fact, one of my most "successful" friends lives in Altlanta. When he speaks, I certainly don't associate that accent with ignorance!! Never judge by accent, you'll have very few friends in life.
  11. Nice find Roger, interesting! I would be dumbfounded if I put a fish on the snow and it left blue slimecoat behind after. Freaky. I've never noticed any "color" or "hue" to the slimecoat of any fish. Cool.
  12. What do you guys mean "fertilize" them? What do they use exactly? What "fertilizes" water? In my fish tank, whenever I have had to start a new tank, with new water, aside from the conditioners, etc, a biologist at URI gave me some stuff called "Biozyme". As I understand it, this stuff accelerates the growth of organisms to help establish a biosystem in the water quicker. Similar?
  13. Skip a step and start doing it like California and just feed the bass some trout a couple times a month. (Sorry CaptCali,....couldn't resist. )
  14. Matt, didn't you guys grab one that week? I remember one the size of a basketball,...no? Side effects from the bar?
  15. not really if you'll notice how prevelant the carp bite is when the mulberries are fallin' First time I ever saw a fish eat a berry. Also the first time I tied a big fluffy round purple thing and called it a "fly",lol
  16. Muddy, we thank you back. Your posting is often full of humor or good will. 2 things that make people smile. We'll get you a group hug in Fork, lol. Russ
  17. C'mon, you guys know I'm kidding,........North Face doesn't make pumps........
  18. and embarressing,DOH!! J/k risk, I'm not even a sports fan,lol
  19. Fine,....I hate my calves in pumps anyway
  20. OK Kevin, good luck to you and Tera with the house!! Hopefully it'll be MY turn this yr,lol. I'm bringing extra cologne and hair gel,......I swear that had somthing to do with it. Oh yea,....and a blowdryer.
  21. I'm pretty sure just about everyone does. WooHoo!!! Countdown clock is ticking.....
  22. Tele- I was using it in a "formal" context. Wasn't gonna share the local version, but now it's out. So,...getinny? (hey, heard you went fishing today, how was the bite?) also known as Hodjadoo?
  23. I had one trying to pillage a free meal from the one I was reeling in the other day. Sure gets you excited when you see aggression like that!
