  1. Good fall fishing in New England but that will flip like a lightswitch very shortly.
  2. No Roger, the Kistler went for a dip, never to return. I was actually on the bow "scoping" today with the water getting clearer and clearer now. The rod is in about 23 ft . My buddy actually went and scuba dove for it for me but the hydrilla and algea bloom at the time made it a tough venture. He got to see lots of big fish though!! I am going to have Fletchero build me the replacement. Those rods we are using there are Spidershaft rods. Not made anymore. Made originally by Mitchell for Spider. Retailed arund $59. Very comfortable rod.
  3. I hear ya. My friend Jim just flew in from Washington, landed about an hour ago. You guys have seen the bite lately and the beautiful weather we had here today,......tommorrow's forcast. Heavy rain 30-50 mph wind
  4. I'm like GIDDY right now. Another banner day for Dirk and I today. Big fish went 5.2 with plenty of other beauties willing to get into it with us. RW_ This song isn't country but I thought of you as you seem to have an affliction for women with this type of voice. Hope you enjoy. VIDEO # 20 IS HERE F9 for full screen and turn it up!! ENJOY!!!
  5. That's excellent, on behalf of the kids,...thanks for the awareness call!
  6. :)Congrats Bagwell's!!
  7. I'm not familiar with the cfc campaign, could you elaborate for me? thanks.
  8. Oh yea,...topwaters, white or black. I've used white jigs with success but never threw much white to give an opinion. Saltwater is different. Lots of white.
  9. For me, in primarily clear water, I think along Rolo's lines. Hue is much more important to me than color. Light or dark, it's that simple. I use versions of green , black and brown in different combinations depending on desired HUE.
  10. This one took 9 hrs to build, when I lid all the footage out on the timeline, it was 74 minutes. Compiling that into 5 minutes takes forever!!
  11. Some good advice above. I want to ask you 1 thing and please don't take it as a slight. Are you a bank beater? Are you consumed with all the attractive looking shoreline? ever find youself fishing the perimiter of the lake?
  12. Hey man,.like *cough* what?
  13. DD had written me earlier in the year stating he wouldn't be around much. I think he was moving or his business was moving or somthing. Email sent to DD. he would probably love to hop on the Fork trip.
  14. No way man, it's up there! The UPS man doesn't KNOW the word late! As a matter of fact, true to form, it was up at 10:55, 5 minutes early!!
  15. OK,OK,OK...It's loading as I type. I chose a song you've probably never heard them do before, it's off of a "specialty" album. PM for more details if needed. Video will be posted in this section by 11:00, enjoy!!
  16. Got 80% of it done today,....Blues Traveler was the call, thanks for all the input. Should be able to finish it tomorrow after work. I'm proud of this one,....chock full of big fish.
  17. Those are my Bibs you goofballs!!
  18. Black Crowes, Zeppelin,....Carrie Underwood,....lol,..I see where your going with this, lol.
  19. ok guys, I got lucky today and have been assigned to work on a United Way project so I will have some time to start building the video this afternoon. I need song suggestions, my mind is blank. I like "remedy" by the Black crowes in the last video so I'm thinking along those lines,...genre wise. maybe even as far back as the right Zeppelin song,...anyone? I am aiming this video to be shorter, for those on dial up, it will be 1 song and slam packed with large fish. Any help with song suggestions is appreciated, you guys always have great input. EW77- this fall we proved to ourselves that that particular jig isn't magic. We have been catching on 2 different 1/8 and 3/16 oz jigs, totally different design from each other. next year, we keep it local, we want to try your grass jigs from the get go. I'll be ordering a batch for ice out
  20. FC- The best way to get a bomber here is trolling. But Deep. 50+ ft, wire line. Ever give it a go? PS- Does the water always have that "hue" of pew? We also have some good fish that come from very questionable water.
