  1. Probabilities and statistics 101 That's when the majority of people fish. The most common hours when people are on the water. Ask anyone who fishes the dark side and they'll swear up and down, myself included, that the odds for bigger fish are greater at night.
  2. Bottles, unless going offshore, no glass allowed
  3. odds are you didn't resize it small enough or didn't click the "I have my own picture" box. 3rd most common is the "http" in the link, did it get doubled ? It's already provided once. Check those, if no luck, email me the pic
  4. ;D ;D Oh man,. that had me rolling, sounds exactly like me..... Thanks for the support everyone, tomorrow we go to double dose, can't wait. I smoked less overall today but I think it was because I was bait building. I usually don't smoke much when I'm into a project like that, the mind goes elsewhere. It's when I'm driving,...surfing,...etc. that I tend to keep lighting them. we'll see what tomorrow brings
  5. They say the main 2 effects are #1-Nausea and #2-intense dreams The dreams are fine as long as they don't go sour, for most. Eric actually liked this side effect, lol The nausea is resolved by making sure to take with a meal, not a snack, a meal The 3rd biggee is irritability but I think this is to be expected no matter which process you choose to help you quit. So far, day 3 and I've had zero side effects cart- also hoping this will help with the clusters too. On that note, they have me set up for a sleep study. You know how I get mine at night now and it's usually to far into it for the oxygen? Well, they are going to set me up with a c-pap? (continuous oxygen flow machine) when I go into my next cluster. Feed me the oxy all night in hopes that it aborts the attack w/o even waking me up. Kinda simple solution, I wish 1 of the 7 neurologists on my team could have thought of that! : Off topic, but not, smoking is directly related to my migraine condition
  6. ok folks, I'm on board. I had quit smoking back in the skiing days,....3 yrs. Picked it up again about a year after returning home. I hate the habit for all the obvious reasons but mostly because it owns me. It's nasty, dirty, ugly and dangerous. With that, I got some Chantix the other day and have begun the cycle. The way it works, you pick a quit date and start 1 week before it. They tell you to keep smoking. Before the quit date comes, they say I won't "want" one. We'll see. It starts with low doses and doubles as it goes along. I'm on day 3, the last day of the smallest dose, tomorrow it doubles. So far, no change in the regularity of my habit. I'm going to report here each day, like a diary, for a few reasons. 1. So y'all can help- hold me accountable. I know this is all me, noone else can do it but, I've seen what BR support can do..... 2. So others can watch and maybe I can be an example. Trust me, I'm a heavy smoker, both in numbers and habit. If I can quit, anyone can. I am relying greatly on the drug at first and hoping I can surprise myself and grow some strength from that. So,....here goes,....paperwork says I will be "extremely irritable",....if you get the urge to post something that's not really political but has nowhere to go BUT being political,...you're bummin'. (Got that Avid? ) Just a shot across the bow, lol.
  7. RIGHT ON!!!!! Anyone else need a 6lbr? BUY A SHIRT! lol Wagn- you'll get a 1st run BaitMonkey shirt the moment they hit the market Should be mid Nov. Thanks!!
  8. sounds like you are over charging a very full (water) battery. Keep an eye on those water levels though, when you overcharge, it boils like that, which results in less and less water in there with each charge. It was not bugs
  9. A. What a perfect looking fish B. What a perfect looking picture C. What a Perfect memory for the 2 of you, thanks for sharing.
  10. Great day! You remind me of my ex,....she could never keep her tongue in her mouth either, lol.
  11. I've been invited to go smallie fishing tomorrow,...you're getting me pumped!! '
  12. She's short, but fat. 4.75-5.25 Definitely not over 5.5 and a very nice looking bass. Good genetics there.
  13. Northerns broke the 10lb mark awhile ago As for how big do they get, we'll have to wait till I break the record to see : ;D
  14. Well done bud I hope that's not the bait that you are going to try and win a hoodie with though..... :
  15. If the dissolved oxygen level is low enough for a fish kill, don't plan on a trout stocking. Trout need much more oxygenated water than bass. It's a bummer, but it does happen.
  16. No Sam,...that's us , his neighbors in RI : Howdy Grizz/neighbor! Welcome Aboard
  17. PM me the members name pls Anyone else get the same PM?
  18. My guess is Keri was out of her element, not being a partners tournament and having to carry Glenn probably threw off her game a bit,....she'll adjust ;D Sounds like a great trip and a great learning experience! Glad you guys had a good time, safe travels back
  19. The way to become a better fisherman is to constantly change it up till you notice the pattern in what is working Some options to try: Real slow, POP and wait Real fast popopopopopopopopop Erratic pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop and every mixture and speed difference in between. when one hits, duplicate what you were doing and try and establish a pattern. This applies to every and any bait you are learning.
  20. Not me, how does it run? For me, a good wake has to be able to creep.
  21. www.LowBudgetHookers.com Surely a 6 lbr wearing the Hoodie has to be worth SOMETHING! Get me a pic and we'll figure it out
  22. Prop? lower unit? hull damage?
  23. SinDale- Try big baits that have continuous movement so they can track it. Dying Flutters, woodchoppers,buzzbaits,j-bugs Contact baits, not baits that require "line watching" for best results. Once you get dialed in, you may want to experiment more with the other stuff, but I would suggest starting with contact baits. Color is irrelevant, 95% of them are black at night anyway
