  1. Will it pull it? Most likely. (but your transmission will hate you) Will it stop it in a hurry? Doubt it Make sure the trailer has independent brakes if you go this route
  2. bummer, if it was metric, your guess would have been exactly correct : Kidding ;D
  3. The bummer is what you may deal with for the rest of your life. I broke lots of things thru my skiing career (arm-ulna,back-t2&3,scapula,fingers, thumbs, right wrist, etc) but none of those injuries haunt me too bad. Except my wrist. Doc said wrists and ankles, worst bones to break when it comes to them affecting you later in life.(3rd is your back, lol, I went for the tri-fecta) Personally, Id rather break my wrist 3 times than a femur once. Heal up buddy
  4. Have a Gore-Tex experience and that will change real quick North Face, all day-every day. When it comes to rain gear, there's no skimping. If you are uncomfortable or wet, you won't want to fish. I fish in every wet condition possible so I only use the best. The Cabela's guide wear is a great value too. A bit bulky for my taste (being thin, I prefer a fitted garment) but you can't beat the bang for your buck. Frogg toggs or anything made with pvc,...not for me.
  5. If it's raining, I'm fishing. Period. Wake bait will be tied on.
  6. by "weak link", I meant an "extra" unnatural element for the fish to spot. It isn't necessary so why add it? Speed clips for crankers, I get, anything else, I don't, but to each his own.
  7. Once you realize how many "good" welders aren't even willing to touch thin aluminum, the price will be moot. Pay it and add a case of beer on the side in case you ever need to call on him again. Nice offer Zellamander
  8. But the fish already come with scales.....
  9. They must have sent it Fedex ;D
  10. That used to be the cure-all but has since been replaced by 3m 5200 for the most part. Both are more of a band aid than a cure but it's still mandatory to have one on board at all times as they can be applied wet to stop a leak on the spot till you can get in and make a proper repair.
  11. now THAT'S old...... :
  12. More from the youth section billbrum 8.462 Chad 7.885 bass XL 9.000 the jake 9.407
  13. Ah, bummer, I missed it.
  14. Dead on GW. I think it was a combo of both. It was definitely one of "those" days but at the same time, a few of these baits really didn't even work the day before. The action was there but not the "wake" part. They would run juuuuust under the surface whereas my control bait, #16 would push water like no tomorrow. I was looking for something that does both. Moving the eye cured it.
  15. Keep in mind, these are basic, I kept them all black for the "control" side of things. I'm looking for body styles with different actions so to keep things even, they are all the same (color). However, I was at my partners house yesterday and saw some of the finishes his factory is planning for them,.......I'm VERY pleased, can't wait to show you guys. There will be Bass, Rainbow and yellow Perch It's starting to get exciting
  16. I never use hardware that didn't come with the bait. Any issues with action are easily resolved with a Rapala knot. Swivels have no place here unless you are trolling or fishing live bait in a current. Hardware= weak link
  17. First thing I would do is make a set of rollers for where you launch. Caster wheels at lowes are like a buck each. Line up 4 or 5 on a piece of 2x6. Works like a charm. Secondly, same as above, if you could post a pic, especially of the bad spots, so we know what we are dealing with.
  18. Welcome Aboard!
  19. k, this is also posted in the Youth section. These are the current additions ptomacbass 6.368 kickbasskid101 7.123
