  1. Yup, just another day man. Just go fishin'. See you on the stage brother, rack 'em up!!
  2. No, not the same, dingers are a bit stiffer. How did this thread make it to 3 pages??? Please refer to the Senko sticky for hundreds of replies on this exact subject. Closing down now
  3. I'm guessin waterdog, tin (if he showed), Paul or johnny C won. You have to know that place to do well. Was it Lunker only and how big was it? Man,...this is like pulling teeth!
  4. Big M, what would I need to buy to build that (and where-motor)? I have the wood and hardware.
  5. You need to be much more specific than that. What type of lure? Type of finish? What is your skill level with tools and what tools do you have available to you?
  6. Can't go wrong with a slammer
  7. Cool. Thanks everyone
  8. I also have 1 gallon of Sikkens and 1 gallon of Glasurit clear coats. Again, the car audio stuff. Problem is I have no place to spray anymore since moving.
  9. Thanks Big M. Can Devcon be thinned to give it a little more pot life??
  10. SGT Peters- Any other specific requests? Anything we can facilitate for you guys, let us know, we got lots of "resources" here. Hang tough guys.
  11. You guys are brave!! lol CAN it be done? Of course. Is it a great idea? Not in my opinion. Too much risk to have too much money sink to the bottom. Gunnels are too low, someone, something or both could go in with 1 wrong move. Don't get me wrong, plenty of people do it and do it fine, the above testaments are proof positive but as an avid jon boater, I would not recommend it to a friend. I would say ok for now but only till you can get a 12 I would recommend a 10 to someone who fishes alone, in small water or to someone who needs a row boat for a mooring. Just my .02
  12. Ahhh Kent, you're a consistently generous soul....... ;D I think the second pic looks bigger. You have to cover his face and look at the size of his hand compared to the mouth because the glasses throw the whole scale off.
  13. I may be wrong here, but I've never seen clear water turn muddy because of the turn over. Plus, I believe also that your temps aren't there yet for a turn over. Hmmmmmm.......... Either way, fish what the conditions tell you. If it's muddy, fish muddy applications, etc. Bright, loud baits Adapt, excel, win Good luck
  14. Don't let him fool you, he only speaks English and Largemouth Welcome Aboard!!
  15. Glass resin is easier to get than devcon. Both are very available. Resin can be bought in anyy home depot, or automotive store, shoot, even wal-mart carries it. It's about 1/5th the price. No yellowing yes-glossy I have been painting over the top of it but most baits don't even get a color,.....(you know why,lol,...because it DOESN'T matter!!!lol) My last few baits (proto types 15,17,19 and 20) are "wood" colored, lol. Tan is a natural color right? lol Anyway, if you paint first and then do the resin, it just strips the paint. Maybe this is the issue. It is designed to be sanded and then painted OVER and then clear coated. Remember, this is mainly an automotive product. (but the fish like it when it's applied to something that's 15" long and snaking through the water )
  16. How do you print on tissue paper????? I was originally asking about the swims dsaavedra made, the bluegill one. I thought that was a "foil" job. This stuff is cool too though
  17. I love it!! (ps- Dirk still pees his pants, lmao)
  18. Same in RI, not "illegal" but a permit is required.
  19. No prejudice for ANY fish here, if it has fins and swims, I'm into hooking it.
  20. Please Lots of pics if possible
  21. Could some of you guys show me what you use to dry lures. Please explain construction and components if it's home made. Thanks
