The discount applies in the cart. I just tried it this morning and it still works. I got the email late last night so I don’t know how much longer it’s going to work. If you’re interested I wouldn’t wait.

Lowland Reservoir LMB staging areas
From my experience a lot depends on water clarity. Bass stay deeper in shallow lakes with cold clear water. If it is man made there could be stumps in deeper water. Boulders, weed edges, transition areas, subtle depth changes are additional places to look in deep, clear water. I find bass will spawn earlier than what the experts say. If the water is more stained i find them shallower more often this time of year.

Jerkbait Storage: My current solution for tangling. Simple, Inexpensive, Makes me happy (enough).
My favorite box for 110 size jerk beats are the old original Falcon FTO deep crankbait boxes. I still have some . The slots are plenty deep to stack two in each cell. the lures never tangle because the trebles for the bottom one are tucked underneath. With hard baits, I want to be able to retrieve them out of my box quickly and close it to avoid rain exposure. When you have three or four baits stacked on top of each other and they are tangled, it’s not worth it to me when you consider the rust potential.

Tackle Tray Storage
I bought a bunch of Meiho boxes. They all have a single large latch that closes reliably. They come in different sizes but they don’t match traditional 3600 or 3700 dimensions. They also come in different depths and have held up pretty well. The dividers are good at keeping things from moving in between cells, even small terminal tackle. The build quality is pretty good too. I bought one of their thin ones for terminal Tackle, not as a main terminal Tackle box, but for quick access to terminal table I use most of the time. It is fine, but it is too thin for larger hooks or jig heads.

Tell us about a time a bait you struggle with clicked for you!
Rio Rico. Learning how to walk the bait aggressively without moving it much was a game changer.

Oxblood Red Flake
Rapala Janitor Worm, 8 pack. Missile baits used to but i don’t think they offer it anymore. If they’re really dialed into this color then it is worth it.

Go to baits always on the deck?
Something vertical, horizontal, and suspending. Something on top when water temps reach 60.

Lowland lakes
2-3 foot is great. With lots of fishing pressure the obvious spots are going to be hammered. Every lake has its nuances, character. Learning the lake can pay off but the tradeoff is you often catch less in the short run. Refine your approach if you are mostly fishing community holes. Find less obvious areas that hold fish and adapting as conditions change will help you catch fish even if you are fishing behind people. Pay close attention to smaller breaks and weed edges.

Lowland lakes
what is the water clarity and fishing pressure? Lowland lakes can be surprisingly good and others look very fishy but are not.

Low visibility lure colors?
For plastics, black with red flake is very underrated.
