10-6 is what I was thinking as well looking4structure. Matt Fly, one big improvement for the Cowboys was letting go of Roy Williams. That was only about 2 years over do and a big upgrade defensively right there IMO.

The Pack didn't do him a bit wrong, they just decided to move on, and focus on being a better team for the future. Favre wasn't going to make a difference in their performance last year. Rodgers had one of the better seasons last year among all QBs. Injuries were the downfall of the Pack. A good portion of their OL and defense missed a lot of time last year. Its not like Favre is Mr. Clutch under pressure anyway.

being the son of a USNA graduate, I watched a lot of Paul Johnson in the last few years. He really is a great coach but I'm just not sure an option offense is capable of winning national championships anymore. You will not see an option offense win the national title anymore without some other facet of their game being superior also offensively. The reason I said they won't win a national title Chris at Tech is because defending the option requires discpline and technique. The biggest part of discipline is reading your keys and staying where you are supposed to be. The option is great for the regular season because with one week-2 max to prepare for it, its still tough to defend. When you give these top notch D coordinators at BCS schools a month plus to drill it into the skulls of their defenders, its gonna get snuffed out most of the time. GT will have to build a heckuva D to win a national title with that offense. I am a big Paul Johnson fan though.

Congrats, UT has a bad season, and they are building back for a strong future. Just remember Tennessee has just as many BCS titles as Texas and plays in a lot tougher conference. 5BL, those were the least afeminite pictures I could find of your Chokies. Sad, I know.

Tyrod is an athlete and if his passing has improved, the skies the limit for VT in the ACC. Ga Tech is the team I will love to watch out of the ACC though. I don't think they will ever win a national title with Paul Johnson there, but they will always be at the top of the conference. He is one of the best coaches in the country. I think another year wiser in their system and they will quite possibly take the ACC.

Please at least win one against the Phils for crying out loud. Hotlanta's needs some more help.

Not just b/c they won the ACC. People expect this team to rival the team when Vick took them to the National Championship game, and they have a kid by the name of Ryan Williams who looks godly in spring practice, and they have a kid by the name of David Wilson coming in who was personally called at home by Urban Meyer to come and fill Percy Harvin's spot, and a much improved O Line, and a recruit out of Florida who is supposed to be an absolute STAR DB and returner, and a QB of Tyrod Taylor back, and NO MORE Sean Glennon even in site on the field. GO HOKIES! Tyrod's mediocrity was proven by the fact that Glennon was still part of the QB discussion for VT last year.

Roughing the kicker is a serious safety concern which I understand, especially for punters. Roughing the passer is fine as a rule, I just think they have become way too over protective of QBs.
