I love to see them jump. Unless its a tourney, I wouldnt care if it came off. Thats just more reason to come back and fish again. The worst I lost a fish jumping was when I was 10 or 12 years old. Wading with my grandfather my reel had gave up the ghost. We were wading back to the truck and he hooked up at a weed bed. He figured it was a redeye or smallmouth and handed me the rod. I gave a big yank and up jumped a pike and then the rebel crawdad. (could have been a musky, but he had caught a different pike there earlier in the week). Even though it got off, it was still a lot of fun to see it fly.

I was summons twice within a year. Once federal, and the other for county. I got to serve on one trial for federal. An inmate at a local prison was accusing the wardon of cruel and unusual punishment. Yeah, thats a real easy one to prove. The first time I had to go over for the selection process I had to admit I couldn't serve because I knew the guy who got stabbed by an inmate. I think Burley went to school with him. Knowing him, he probably deserved it. In our county court, I sat on a fraud case. Every other time I was a part of the selection process I didn't make it without being cut. I enjoy doing it and don't mind if I have to again in the future.

And as we speak, the area where Burley and myself live is under a Tornado warning and getting pounded with more rain.....YAY.

Actually its smart move for Meeks more than likely. His stock is as high is it will probably be for him, and if he has a hard time with the new O at UK, it will go down. Tyler Smith is a perfect example to compare to. Had he went out last year, he probably gets drafted late first, early second round. This year, he didn't have as impressive of a season and had more holes in his game exploited, so his stock wasn't as high as last year. Therefore, he's coming back to UT to try and improve his status for next season. This is a very weak draft as well, so that effects the decision also.

Hopefully too much damage won't be done to the old boat.
