  1. I tried letting it fall when they followed and did not get bit. I also tried speeding up some and got more follows. There were bluebird skies though and it went from dead calm to 30-40 miles per hour gusts while I was fishing.
  2. Six and eight inch Hudds are definately swimbaits.
  3. Today, I was throwing a six inch Hudd and had about 15 follows and bumps. I landed none of these fish except I did have a little guy on for a couple seconds. One of the followers was about five pounds. Do fish normally bounce off of and follow soft plastic swimbaits?
  4. First, we need to know what baits you will be throwing. A six inch Hudd is different than a six inch Basstrix.
  5. Nice catches. How is the water in your creek that clear after those rains though?
  6. What is your favorite swimbait? I really love my new six inch Huddleston. I have tried others but I think the huddleston is the best. Now I need to land a fish on the six inch so I have an excuse to buy a rod and reel for the eight inch
  7. How would I go about mounting a tilt and swivel mount depth finder on a twelve foot aluminum jon boat?
  8. Maybe I will have to fish for Snakeheads after lunch today.
  9. Well, I know that you don't really fish jigs, so stick with the Red Eye Shad.
  10. Hahahahaha. I have to buy some of these now.
  11. I wish I was there :'(
  12. Has anyone here tried the new Megastrike formula yet? If so, how do you like it?
  13. The fish was and still is alive. I would never kill a bass. I was fishing from shore and when I pulled it up it hit the ground and got some sand and dirt on it.
  14. How does that ruin a fishes jaw?
  15. Caught this one last week. Not too big but I took a picture of her. I think already beat Dave ;D
  16. I'm in, lets just say that if I had known about this three weeks ago I may have been the winner. :-X
  17. What color football jig should I tie for fishing in 30-50 feet of clear water? I am thinking green pumpkin or peanut butter and jelly. What do you guys think?
  18. Thanks guys, one more question though. Do they have a tight, medium, or wide wobble?
  19. Has anyone tried these? I hear it is possible to get them down 25 and possiblly 30 feet deep.
  20. I was talking to Brent.
  21. Sorry guys, I meant Jigs like flipping jigs or football jigs. Jigging spoons are one of the baits that I can catch bass on during the winter.
  22. Has anyone else found jigs to be bad winter baits? It seems that I will be using a jig and catch none and then come back to the spots I was fishing the jigs with and catch them on suspending jerkbaits spoons and lipless cranks. The water temperature here during the winter ranges from 35 to 45 degrees.
  23. 3/4 or 1 ounce football jig in 50 feet of water.
