when i was haveing truble i put 50# pp on it and that helped,once you get use to that i put 12# mono on and could cast fine,,hope it helps.

well my 13 year old brother wanted to me to teach him how to throw a baitcaster,so we went to academy and he bought the h2o manic,let me tell you it was worth the money, what a reel he backlashed 1 time and now looks like a pro great reel for 50 bucks.
